Another fine bunch of ... stuff you have there Jack. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from all of it. I've found over my 70 years that all that really matters is the pleasure you get from it, not what anyone else thinks of it. Unlike Don, when I hear Majestic, I think of Jim Lindenas which means it is probably Canadian. Of course a quick Google on the brand reveals it was in fact an American brand made in Chicago. Mrs.VEG should have fun with that one for sure. :)

Has been 70 already? Gosh, it just seems like 60....10 years ago....where does the time go.....I agree, ones toys generally makes one happy and mine sure do....but I must admit, you have a few toys Id be happier with! :) Thanks for the look...she is very happy and she's looking forward to working on it also. ~Jack, VEG

I like that little County com gp5 receiver, kewl. When I hear Majedtic, I think German Grundig, but with all those tubes, it may do well for AA7 AM radio. . Of course the Yaesu FRG was the best "such a deal, oy vay"! Add the cheapo mfj antenna tuner, and the wire antenna shoukd perform well with it for DXing. Your hamfest finds have me jealous with envy. Dayton was a couple weeks ago, but we are broke. It's a few hours from here. I have never been there. We have not been to a hamfest in many years. But I am happy with what I have. My best rig is my Yaesu FT450d. I also have the Drake TR4 tube rig, also a fave. But I have not hammed in years. Field day in a couple weeks, I like that, ahd may svope out a local this year.

Thanks Don! When I hear "Majestic" I think cheap 1970's dime store radios that are trying to be at least Monkey Wards quality! :) Looking forward in setting down and playing/learning that radio! Very nice Yaesu radio and all the other cool stuff you found. I picked up the Super Bowl ch 6 CB on my handheld scanner the other day. A band opening because CB radio is dead around here. Thanks for showing off your new toys! Take care. 👏🏻👍❤️📻

Thanks! CB here is also mostly dead...in my next HAM Swap videos from an up coming video, you'll see more junk bought, used some of them to work the CB band and DX, today I worked Washington state and Maui, HI...my first contact ever for HI, super stoked! Otherwise locally I have only found one group on SSB who are HAMs but prefer CB apparently. Take care as well my friend! ~Jack, VEG

The FRg from Yeaseu FRG 8800 for $100 is definitely the best score of the whole bunch Jack. They are very collectible pieces of gear besides all in all a great haul overall Jack. Spy receivers and transceivers are Nostalgia items at best Jack and are not really that great on the air. Thanks for sharing.

I was kinda joking when I offered the price, thought he'd want at least 2 bills, but glad he excepted. Its a beautiful sounding rig. It would neat to have the spy stuff, but ugh....this was a good haul indeed, but just wait until you see the "haul"/"killing" I made in Minden! I will try to rush the video instead of multi chapter, but allot of great stuff for a steal! Thanks Larry! ~Jack, VEG
