Boon Gould - 'You're A1'

Very sad to hear of the passing of Rowland 'Boon' Gould, one of the founder members of Level 42.
I was always a massive fan of Level 42 and 25 years later I got a chance to work/write with Boon, who was a truly lovely guy.
Here's a song we wrote together; me on keyboards/programming and him on guitar & vocals - I'm not sure it was ever released, so this will be lovely for admirers of Boon's to hear :-)

Mr. Rowland Gould was an enigma. Not only could this man put down incredible lyrics, but he could really sing too. Boon, rest in power and God's peace. Level 42 is forever gone without you around. Thanks for posting this.

Brilliant guitarist..and I never knew he had such a great voice...i kind of get the feeling he was the "mystical" aspect of level 42...his playing always took the song (and me)to a beautiful place visually and in how i felt as well... for me he transcended style and form..Being a guitarist myself in bands on and of for years, i always listen closely from that perspective as well...and so few guitarists do that for me...Pat Metheny is another...so sad he's left us...
