We visited Subway Cave and Kayaked Manzanita Lake In Lassen Volcanic National Park. Camping in the Lassen National Forest is free and with our National Park Pass, we get into National Parks free, so the trip was just the price of gas and food.

Lake Manzanita is beautfiul! Another lake to check out is Castle Lake, its up out of the town of shasta and is the most incredible place ive ever been too. Its a glacier fed lake and my favorite place of all times! I cannot wait to get back up there! Love this video, reminds me to make plans to get back up there! My parents live just outside of Redding! Its gorgeous up there!

Castle Lake is beautiful, but there are so many people up there. I like to go deeper to the other lakes.

Hwy 89 to right on Twin Bridges RD. Turn left on McElroy rd. then you'll see camping along Hat Creek
