You can usually find them on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace for between $2500-$5500 depending on condition and equipment. But it took me several months to find one that would work for me. Be patient and keep looking!

Hello, some questions. 1. Do you keep your hotdog cart at ur house or do you have to rent a Storage place? 2. When you first start did you pay yourself if so how did you decide how much to pay? 3. Is it best to keep it simple or sale sandwiches and breakfast? Thank you

In my county a commissary is required for all Mobile food facilities. I have not paid myself to this day, save for write offs at the end of the year. But it’s a cash business so you usually have cash on hand if you need to pay yourself. Just make sure you pay your taxes! I did some breakfast items at first, but they weren’t cost effective and much more effort than they were worth. Now, I keep it simple!

@@MeatballsJ we pay quarterly sales tax. You can collect it with payment and add it to your pricing, or include it in a flat dollar amount and build it into cost. We do both, depending on location. Concessions stands are easier with no coin change.
