umpires can yell at you after you get tossed but they dont have to do interviews after games after terrible calls.

MLB Umpiring has been deteriorating for the last twenty years. And yet there's no recourse by MLB. Joe Torre did nothing to improve the quality of Umpiring when he was in charge of it. Jim Bowden said on MLB Radio a few years back, and I summarize: "If you know an Umpire's name, he's probably not doing a good job." So now we know all their names and rightly so.

Boone is a clown, how is that not the right call? Its a fair ball. Not the blues fault his outfielder decided not to play anymore.

It's a wrong call because India would *not* have scored if the ump didn't get the call wrong. If the ump said fair ball, Bauers would have gotten the ball in quick, and India would have stopped at 3B, at most. Boone isn't mad that the call was reversed from fair to foul; he is upset that the umps allowed the baserunner to score, which he wouldn't have, instead of awarding him 2nd or, most appropriately here, 3rd base. An ump can't assign a baserunner to a base further than they would have attained in a clean play with no officiating mistakes, which is exactly what they did here.

review is so bad in mlb. i went to the orioles pirates game guy was clearly tagged in the head going to second. they call him safe everyone sees it on replay and they still called him safe. then a play at first was so bang bang they called him out. they over turn the call to safe and you had to stick with the call on the field. its a joke.
