I didn't even think to do a scalp scrub! I do a face scrub every couple of days to reduce my facial scarring but didn't even think about my scalp. Especially for newly transitioned girls like myself, this is so beneficial. Thanks for the video :)

You're welcome... it'd also not something I'd considered before either!

TFS Queen was it difficult to get all the salt out of your hair?
@Life.Love.Locs.8 жыл бұрын
No, not at all, I just shampooed very well, and also, since I was using warm water, the salt melted! :)

New subbie here!! Thanks so much for this informative video. I can't wait to order some products from the website. I love supporting black businesses and this video was awesome. You are so beautiful!! Skin is flawless and I love your accent! Your hair looked so moisturized!! I can't wait to try this!! Question: I have 4b/4c hair that is prone to dryness. Would you recommend me doing the salt scrub or no?
@Life.Love.Locs.8 жыл бұрын
+meansnas Thanks so much for the feedback! My hair is prone to dryness too so I understand. I'd say the salt scrub is perfectly fine as long as it's not done too often, and also be sure to moisturise your hair and deep condition well afterwards.

Could that scrub be bomb for the face as well, or too harsh? I need that papaya oil in my life somehow... lol
@Life.Love.Locs.8 жыл бұрын
I think it could be ok but be careful with the salt particles, they could irritate your face if applied too harshly.

is the oil extracted through steam distillation?
@Life.Love.Locs.8 жыл бұрын
I have no idea! You'd have to ask the maker of the oil.

This would work better if you leave your hair soaking wet for like 20 minutes. Similar to washing older dishes. If you let it soak in the sink of water it will be easier to clean as opposed to coming at it dry.
@Life.Love.Locs.7 жыл бұрын
+A B I did wet my scalp before applying products... It definitely was not dry. Please re-watch the video, I give all the details of what I did.
@EmOtEeDy7 жыл бұрын
no, you spritzed your hair. I'm saying, if you were to deep condition it first or just soak it with water and put on a plastic cap; the immediately after rinsing doing this stuff I think it would work better. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't idk I didn't do this yet. It was just a suggestion.
@Life.Love.Locs.7 жыл бұрын
+A B Ok, that's an idea, I just didn't want to undo the work of the deep conditioner by using salt after it - I wanted to deep cleanse first and then condition afterwards.

Hi, new to your channel here, can I ask for some advice? I've suffered from telogen effluvium and my hairloss is really bad, I have a very dry scalp and for some reason it's stopped producing oil (sebum) but I have these white grainy balls on my scalp, what do you recommend to try and get my scalp to produce natural oils?!
@Life.Love.Locs.8 жыл бұрын
I'm not really sure what advice to give as I am a hair enthusiast but I'm not a professional. Have you consulted a dermatologist? I feel like they would be able to answer you clearly and more in depth.
