Very nice. You don't pack a ton of exercises into one video, but I learn so much more this way. You teach a way of thinking about the bass that goes a bit beyond the other KZbin teachers. Not that they aren't great too, it's just you have pretty unique angle.

Who said practicing can't be fun and interesting! Being able to come with creative ways to practice make it a much higher incentive for sure. Cheers as always

Hello Rich, I'm still confused about the way to start learning theory in a good order. Don't you have a course or could you make a playlist with your videos in a logical way for lost ppl like me? Live your videos man, keep it up!

I know that no matter how many scales a person practices if you don’t have an imagination you won’t make music period.

Thanks for the post. It would have been easier to follow what you were doing on the bass if you had written it down so we could see your process more clearly. 😊

I agree with you wholeheartedly Rich. It seems like every decade there’s a new “only way” to learn. It was scales for a time, now it’s triads. It’s all vocabulary and grammar; it’s up to the player to make it music.
