From my experience what I notice after installation: - Turbo noise and blow off sound is more noticeable - Gear change is slighty faster - Loss of power in lower rpms - It takes time to adjust pipe on intercooler, it leaks oftenly

I think something is wrong, the turbo flutter should be with no blow of valve, the bov should make psssss sound and relief the pressure befor the trottle body when you let of the gas pedal.

Depends what setup you have, original or silicone pipes, original or open air filter, remap etc.

@@SmartRacer the sound you have is that i have on my rodie with silicone pipes and no BOV , just check if the BOV lifts and relese the intake pressure when you let go of the gas pedal.

how do you explain the loss in performance, since the BOV lets the turbo spin more freely between shifts, thus keeping boost more constant?

Lower RPMs and it takes effort to place new pipe on intercooler (likely to leak), gear change is defently improved

@@SmartRacer ok got it, when in lower rpms the engine runs in a vacuum like a naturally aspirated car until the turbo sets in and gives it overpressure (boost) maybe it has something to the with the fuel pressure regulator

Had this stupid thing in my first Roadster. Glad I had the far more likeable stock chirping noise in my 2nd one back. One advantage of the blow off valve might be longer turbo longevity. One definitive disadvantage is that it's just not legal if it breathes into free air.

One of the worst mods I ever did, removed it after a few weeks, leaked loads and the spring didn't match the tune I have on the car so ran poorly

That's your fault then. For tuned engines you can buy extra springs on their site to fit with the blow off valve depending on how much boost you generate.

Can you please help me? I changed the actuator and now still 3 Bars Are showing in the Display. I Tried it also with reseting the clutch with delphi and nothing worked … Im really frustrated please someone help me
