Was the finger throttle hard to get used to? And how many rides until you were comfortable with it?

I got on with it right away, before the end of my first ride with it, the finger throttle felt more natural than the thumb ever did. 10+ years of riding sleds with thumb throttles and now after 3 season with a munster i find it difficult to ride a sled that doesn't have a finger throttle
