EXCELLENT! Battled a sticky gear shifter for quite a while. Was told by a “certified” mechanic that new cables would be my only fix. This vid saved me quite a bit of labor time and money. Replaced bushings and fixed the sticky shifter all in about 45 min start to finish. Thanks a ton!!!!

is it okay that the oil is leaking outside the bushing of the gear shifter?

On FB I posted a issue about this sorta, I just replaced mine with the same bushings and also had to free up that joint. It’s still won’t shift to the left of center and won’t return to neutral. I think it’s the shifter cables. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I install my solid shifter bushings and notice 1st and 2nd got a little hard to go into but 3rd, 4th and 5th is perfect. Does anyone know what my problem could be? Thx

How long did you clean that linkage up because i took mine out and knew that was the issue still had to press it back together and it’s still stiff i’m not trying to doen $80 on a whole new shifter linkage please respond

25 minutes maybe. You shouldn’t have to press it on, it should move freely
