Absolutely love my pedal commander on my hemi. Had mine for 3+ years with virtually no issues. Now before you ask, only 2 issues. 1 was when i first got it i was changing modes while pressing the gas. You can do it while coasting or just wait for a light. You have to remember its adjusting the what throttle position it is showing the computer so changing it while pressing the gas freaked it out and put it in limp mode. Second time was on the highway it put it into limp mode randomly. Kinda like when your phone freezes or whatever, so just turn it off and back on. For both scenarios i just unplugged it and hooked back up like factory and cleared the check engine light. Probably could have just hooked it back up but i did just drive for a little before doing so. No real issues and well worth it. Cannot recommend enough, hard to show how it completely changed the vehicle. Feels like you gained 100whp. Honestly driving with it off almost makes my leg tired on longer trips 😂. SPEND SOME MONEY ON A QUALITY UNIT. Be warned, mpg will suffer a little 😂

I don’t know why the manufacturers can’t correct this problem from the factory it definitely seems like a problem not to have that response for the regular drive conditions to be able to get out of your own way under conditions that warrant you needing that throttle response to avoid an accident or speed up when on the on ramp of a hi way!! Oh I’ve been thinking about that place where you can build your own shop and it seems to be the best way to go so you have it the way you want/need it for your needs!!??? I got one on my limited ram and the pedal lag way driving me insane and almost getting in accidents because it was like (hold on a sec oh you want to go)....that box improved it un real I was spinning the tires from red lights for a bit till I adjusted to the feel of pedal movement..... definitely a good investment and mod.👍👌✌️

@@JeffreyTucker218 yes very happy mine is a alltia got it off e Bay for $57.00 and it has 9 modes but I have not needed them because having it set to mode 1 setting #3 the pedal is right there 0 lag as fast as you can push it it responds....

Not true though I have a greene tune and also running nitrous along with my sprint booster V2 throttle controller and it makes all the difference in the world for bracket racing and cutting a really good light , I’ve been able to hit a perfect reaction time a lot now and my average reaction time at the track is .001 to .003

I've had 2 other throttle controllers that put me into limp mode, 1 being a well known one. But now I jave the Banks throttle monster which is waaaay better than the others. It runs on your obd port and it's blue tooth as well. Most of these will fail do to the voltage output it needs to run them and having it plugged into your obd gives you 12 volts where the others are half that voltage hence the problems I was having. BTW the Banks response is much more sensitive too and I'm only in city mode and still have spprt and drag afyer that. Jmo.

@@RAILROADfreestyle I have the sweet thunder resonator which replaces the muffler it's made in the US in Cadillac Michigan they are listed on eBay I installed it on the truck when it had 300 miles all the rest of the exhaust is stock nice deep rumble. Perfect fit boat right in I think the price now is $225 with free shipping.

Yeah I agree and if it fails it will automatically reset to factory settings instead of putting your Vehicle in Limp Mode !! Also the Pedal Monster from Banks has Reverse lockout so it resorts back to stock whenever the vehicle is put into reverse.

That would shave your 0 to 60 times with out adding power, just getting power to ground faster If you bought a tuner and did a pcm swap, would you need it or would it work with the tuner

Had a pedal commander $300, 1 year 8 months 2017 Hemi Ram, transmission started acting up starting in 4th or starting very slowly and not shifting properly max speed about 40-45 mph sticking in 4th gear. I went on line and found information from description it was a transmission sensor, took it to a service rep I deal with explained to him what was happening, when he went to get a reading on the truck and saw the Pedal Commander he laughed said he had the same problem told me to unplug the Pedal Commander. YEP everything worked fine now I NO longer have any kind of throttle enhancer!

It's not really booster, it's mapper right? It makes different curve of pedal progress ... i guess they can call it booster of stock setting

I'd set it to be 100% linear from 0% through full throttle. So it's just like an old cable throttle. That's really all the truck can do and gives you 100% usage of the pedal. The rest is just head games by hitting 100% throttle in half the pedal movement. In 200% mode, The other half of your pedal movement does absolutely nothing. Makes you "Think" its faster because you think you're only giving it half throttle when you are really at 100% fueling at half throttle. I normally tune all my stuff right in the ECM, but nothing available for 2022 Cummins yet, so stuck with this and Edge EZX for options.

I put a pedal commander on my ram and I literally couldn't drive in the highest setting it would smoke the tires ever time. With that being said PEDAL COMMANDER is crap! It has a tow haul mode also and it totally shut down when I was towing, everything shut down. Thankfully I was still in the city and my speed was less than 45. If I were going highway speeds I would of crashed. Do not get the Pedal Commander.

​@@eighty6ramam That is a good point, I bought a 18 used it already had exaust work. Third gear was a beast. I did not see anything hooked up, but did not know what I was looking for. It would chirp back tires when I dumped in third but the power continued. Until it shifted. I did have it lock up and stay wide open a few scary times. Pumping breaks would bring it out of it. I have since bought a 2022 4x4 with rear locking diff. Wondering what kinda launch I would get in 4 auto or locking rear.
