Most informative video I’ve seen a very long time. Really appreciated coming from someone that actually did it. Thanks my man!!! Really suprised that you say superchargers shine up top. My understanding was that you get the power immediately since its belt driven (I can understand for vortech though). And that was the main selling reason. You got me all hyped up when you said you might be hitting some twisty damn man!! Anyways, long story short, I’m looking at trying to make power out of aggressive corners. I believe with around 4-500hp id be more then enough for what I do but I want as little lag as possible. Basicly coming out of a corner downshifting into 3rd or even 2nd sometimes and then flooring it. Considering this scenario, what would you say is best? I was thinking twin small turbo such as jwt tt kit or Aam. Basicly wanting to keep up with my friends in track car or sports bike. Finally, in the next video about turbo setups could you discuss about revup like you did for sc as this is what I have :P. Sorry for the long comment. KEEP IT UP!
@nitish214 жыл бұрын
Yes no problem, the turbo application doesn't differ for rev up and non rev u p btw. But yea the American superchargers you get roots style ones make power low end and those V8s can really make the vortech ones sing low end and top end but with the v6 it feels almost na till 3k

Another awesome video man. Come a long way and you've gone full send! Can't wait to see the work once you're no longer RPM limited. I wanted to ask, obviously your car is a lot quicker then the old setup. I've never sat in a Supercharged VQ35DE. When you had your old setup (and I know this is subjective lol), did it feel fast? I know the power is linear. I'm deciding on what I want to do down the track between Single Turbo or S/C on a V35 04 daily (which sometimes gets not used for a time). 😎✌️
@nitish214 жыл бұрын
It felt linear which made it feel NA but top end it felt nice. Felt like a v8 power band but it was kinda still missing the v8 torque dowm low. The sound was awesome. The supercharger you can rip it hard coming out of a corner the turbo setup you gotta be a little more careful. But again it's hard to compare 400whp sc to 600 turbo. Would have been better to compare 400 turbo and or 600 sc. Wait for my built motor videos I'll go over that

I wish they were open so I could call in...hopefully they answer my emails soon.
@CarsAndBasss4 жыл бұрын
I contacted whitehead performance a year ago and got a quote for a vortech supercharger on my 2003 350z with the fuel system, 2.87 pulley, clutch and flywheel it came to 16,000$ after tax and that's not including gauges, fuel return, fuel pump relay etc. All that stuff adds up. Moral of the story, find a good used kit and save a shit tonne of money, that's what I did. I've spent around 7k.

Your G is sick man! Been watching for a couple months now. I have an 04 coupe 6mt pretty much stock but you’ve inspired me to start modding it. I don’t know much but I wanna learn. Is it possible to achieve hp gains doing a bottom end build without boost? I assume that the purpose of forged internals are stronger parts that enable the motor to handle high boost but what if you do forged internals with no boost/turbo and keep it NA? Lol This probably wouldn’t make sense but just a thought.
@nitish214 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro, yea it wouldn't really make much sense. For NA power it's all about air in air out. So you would in most NA Cara port and polish the head to increase flow. Do cams, intake exhaust plenum upgrade. E85 so injectors and fuel pump.. That's a proper NA build.
