Bootcamp vs Self taught

I do not feel like bootcamp is scam per say, they are generally like cs50 repackaged. Bootcamps have a negative connotation associated with them so having a cs50 certificate would probably look better in my opinion. I also recommend courses on Harvard extension school which are generally only $2k per course which is not a bad deal. After doing CS Minor, cs50 and freecodecamp I did feel that the bootcamp was a bit below my level, and in the end I justified it with the job placement support. If I were to did it all over again I would not have done the bootcamp
