OMG! The spatula-thing! Thank you! At my job we use round rainbow split cakes and the middle always gets hollowed out, leaving a lot of unused paint, that cant be utilised. Guess I'm bringing a little spatula to work next time :D

Laura, thank you so very much for this!! I truly appreciate it. My husband passed away 3 weeks ago, and I just kept forgetting to take a minute to thank you. Now streamlining and making my supplies and signage lighter and easier to pack will be more important than ever - I'll probably still need help with my tent, but that will be doable. Love your videos and *you*! 🥰

So, I was going to do face painting at the last market, but after being told I could, the organizer emailed me and asked if I was charging for it. I said yes, but not much. She said one of her friends was going to do it for free. So I decided it wasn't worth it. I can't see how I could do it for free and still be able to buy supplies? I kinda got the feeling I looked like a jerk for charging.
@theabbyway2 жыл бұрын
I feel this pain, happened to me too
@amandagermany59332 жыл бұрын
@@theabbyway Really? How did you handle it? Cause I was thinking this would be a good way to at least assure that I get my gas money for traveling to these things but apparently, they were very surprised that someone would charge for this. I mean, it takes time and money just to be able to do it.
@ahabajablast13352 жыл бұрын
Were they going to pay you for your time and then you were charging on top of that? Or did they just want you to volunteer your time, energy, and supplies?
@amandagermany59332 жыл бұрын
@@ahabajablast1335 No. They were going to let me have a booth space next to my normal one where I sell art and jewelry, which was great until they asked if I was charging. The time, energy and supplies would have just been lost.
