Just starting out myself, and I must say you are a inspiration! I know a craft and go case would make my life of face painting so much easier but I cannot afford one. Sooo I use a camp kitchen. It’s not going to last but it works for now. I’m going to save for a case soon. Love that you called yours Penelope! Everything you have done I’m definitely going to incorporate into my kit now. The clips are a awesome idea!! Thankyou for taking the time to show us your set up. It’s awesome! 💖👏👏

Do u know if Amazon sells these craft and go cases , I can’t seem to find them?

Look up hairdressing towels and you will find packs of the towels you are looking for! :) they are slightly bigger than hand towels, soft enough but not super fluffy, it's what we use for hair! Hope that helps!

@artbylily Жыл бұрын
Hi 👋 thanks for your question. That depends on how big or small your sponges are and your speed. I normally take sponges enough for 150 faces.

Thank you for this video! I have been playing around with face paint for almost three years now, and I think I am ready to take it to the next level. I have a question. I know some artists have done water proof paint. You mentioned that it rained. What do you do to prevent your work from wiping away with sweat/water/moisture? I really appreciate you! Liked and subscribed!!
@artbylily Жыл бұрын
Thank you Tiffany, I apologize on the late response. Typically ppl still want the face painting even though it rains or it’s hot out. I do have pro air brand water resistant makeup on hand if the client requests it.
@kairitjoepera4482 Жыл бұрын
I'm new in this but recomend to put some handpainting options on your board. I had a event last weekend and it was soo hot. At the event there was another facepainter who did only facepaintings and do be truthful. I had 30-40 kids in line and she had only few (those who wouldn't wait in my line bc it was long). I tell the parents and kids to prefer handpainting or something little to the face, because they run/sweat and big picture just melts away. Handpaintings are also good option for those who don't want something on their face but still wanna do something.
@tiffanycajigas8415 Жыл бұрын
@kairitjoepera4482 thank you so much! I never even thought about suggesting hand or maybe even arm designs, since you won't sweat there as much lol I really appreciate your advise! 🫶🏼
