[BOOTLEG DUB] F-ZERO OVERDRIVE - 30TH ANNIVERSARY ANIME ENGLISH DUB

In time for 30th Anniversary of Nintendo's F-Zero franchise, Bootleg Dubs has beamed back its first transmission from Universe B, in the form of the F-Zero anime spin-off's final episode. Organized by Project Director Martin Lis (F-Zero Motion Comic/Spinning Egg Zone/Parody of the Phantomhives), this alternate universe broadcast touts an alien charter with carefully transcribed scripting, original sound design, otherworldly music composition and an array of seasoned voiceover talent to usher in 30 years of Boost Power.
"After 11 months of ambitious passion, isolation amidst a worldwide pandemic and the amazing team that supported my vision- what began as a meager fan-dub blossomed into one of the most intensive production titles I've endured, to date. Hey there, director of the project here. Omitting Zoda was a personal choice that I feel would add more weight to Black and Falcon's death. On top of just not liking the character's writing, I felt the story stands stronger without him. Regarding the quote, I don't think it would work with the darker vibe we were going for and we're purposefully distancing from other interpretations that had a much more mixed...tones. Unfortunately this will be our only episode dub to contribute. This took 11 months to master on top of using a personal budget to ensure my vision was made how I wanted it. I would also not feel we can raise any better of a bar than this specific episode and feel our story and effort was already told, so we will move onto other adaptations. Least our little "what if" exists here for people to enjoy!

Thanks for the lovely words. However, the lack of Mute City was a bit of a personal choice. It's used in just about every form of adaptation to the point it doesn't really hit that same magic after so often whereas the rest of the F-Zero soundtracks are really underplayed in general. Big Blue you can hear a slight homage of the keys used for "Final Blue", the second track in the credits.

We're going to leave it as is. This was a personal love letter for an anniversary celebration and took 11 months of development on top of an actual budget (as well as managing 30+ people in different parts of the world where timezones also conflicted with my main job). As an artist, I don't think we can really get any better than this and would like to try producing some other things. Going through the rest of the series would just feel counterintuitive. That said, I feel this is a satisfying enough reality to make something this great with an amazing team. I would rather give something of huge production quality than burn out with attempting the whole series with any less.

I thought it fit the show well.....I can't believe it failed so bad when it was being broadcasted in the US. Kirby and Sonic X done well but F-Zero GP Legend didn't. No wonder I've been struggling to find recordings of the missing 3 English Episodes as well as the F-Zero 4Kids TV Bumpers from Early 2005. I never even heard of the show back then. Only time I saw it was an Episode preview of Episode 15 on one of the micro sites from the old 4Kids TV website when I was a kid.

Dean sold hats at the Wooly Bully when he called us in 2007. His clients may be people and sometimes people with heads. He was inclined to record for us in exchange for our friend Jon Geist's taxidermy collection. We really don't know much else except that he spoke English, had hands, chews gum, could recite beautiful monologues using clothing pins as props and that he skipped town one day when the Russian mob contacted us asking about "embezzled dolphins". I guess we'll never know what became of him...
