Fnaf is loved mostly for the lore. It was a great game for its time, but now its more-so the lore and concepts that make it so popular. You can tell how the game design became less popular as the new fnaf's are following the more popular and consistent horror designs like open-ish railroaded worlds with survival horror elements.

After doing some research the game was done by a solo dev. Now as someone in the arts I HATE the use of ai in creative projects. However if you don't have the money to get A: voice actors, B: A artist or C: A composer ,then its fine imo clearly whoever made this has put time and effort into it and has just cut round some corners due to time or money constraints.
