Canadian networks jam anything Canadian down our throats by overplaying it. If we’re told it’s Canadian, the masses will love it I swear, this guy was only popular because he was Canadian. Fucking amateur hour

This is the most popular video on my channel!!!!!! Its simply because people HATE Mr Bullard!!!! I just went down to Toronto to see my friends band and got a recording of it. i had a good time plus got lots of screen time as I was sitting behind the ladies Bullard was yapping to. Ya the show was pretty weak but they got some interesting guests .

You know the show is brutal when the loudest cheers happened before the host talks.

So the concept for this show was to write 3 jokes for the monologue and then rely on Bullard's sensational improvisational and crowd work abilities to fill the remainder of time? This is nothing short of brutal television

How free do the tickets have to be to want to stay through an entire show? Holy shit. I've heard of the illusion of sunk costs, but this is ridiculous. I mean, when the pot-smokin', bummin' around "average Canadian" can get a better reaction spinning a swatch of rolling paper on his fingertips for fifteen seconds than the _HOST OF THE FUCKING SHOW_ doing what he's _paid_ to do, you need to find another line of work. Also, did he just threaten to murder some old lady for a punchline? I know not to take shit like this literally, but talk about disturbingly low-hanging fruit.

@@scottbrandon9390 Then he went to Global (and bad-mouthed CTV when he left despite the fact they had given him this show) and tanked big time. In fact, the CTVs ratings for the Daily Show that replaced Bullard's show had higher ratings than "Open Mike" did.

I was at that too. I loved going to the tapings. It was fun after too having a beer with the guys from the show. I just can not imagine that happens anywhere other than Canada. My favourite show was the one when he had the 2 nba guys on. That was a funny show. Or the time when Mark mis pronounced Maury Chapins name and when they went to brake Mike goes into the audience and goes anybody got a fucking toronto phone book.. I go ta find a Maury Chapins( or how ever he mispronounced the name) I gotta find one for tonights show.. Those show were way funnier live.

The guests were awful, unknown Canadian celebrities and some real celebrities that were working in Toronto. When Mike couldn’t get any guests he would beg his way more talented brother Pat to be on the show. I saw Mike Bullard at a Starbucks in Vancouver he talked to everyone and no one really knew who he was.
