Thanks for providing us all with such consistently high quality boot content. One video a week will be more than enough! I got my first 4 x pairs of Jim Greens earlier this year - 2 x custom Barefoot Shoellies and 2 x Barefoot African Troopers. I love all of them! I'm going to nominate my fudge Barefoot African Troopers as my favourites for 2024, though. I will be using them as work boots while "cool burning" coastal bushland in the North of Tasmania (I'm yet to use them for this, but already know they will be great for the job). They are also a fantastic general wear boot for pretty much any non-formal occasion.

I LOVE JIM GREEN! I have two pairs! My top boots from 2024: 5. (Thrift store buy) The RF 124-Se from a company called Reserved Footwear. 4. (Thrift store buy) Redwing 8-inch boots, not sure which one exactly, chunky lugged boot with fabric inside. Will make a nice winter boot. 3. Urban Wolf Club Axeman boot. Waited for about 3 weeks for the boot and there were no updates for it so I was worried I wasn't going to get them but they arrived, and boy are they great. For the price this boot is probably a better deal than any Thursday boot. Full leather midsole. Breaking them in at work. They do pinch just a touch on the top of the foot just below the toe line. Seriously great value company. 2. Thursday Captain boot. I have three pairs but my go to pair is the lugged outsole (stormking). They are nice on the foot (squish/comfort) and brush off easily at the end of the day. I bought the tobacco color but I ended up dying them black and they look great. 1. Ok so I have a tie for this one. I love my JIM GREEN AR8 boots so much but like you said they are tough as heck. So I can't wear them everyday. But what a great boot and well built. My other #1 boot is just for comfort alone. It is the REDBACK Easy Escape boot. I replaced the original insoles with thick leather ones from Dales Leatherworks. I must say that was a wise decision! Even without the original insole there is still quite a bit of squish and my feet NEVER hurt after an 8 hour shift in those. BONUS BOOT! Every time I wear my Thursday Logger boots I am very pleased with how little I notice I am even wearing boots. They can be a bit much because of the high heel stack but once I get used to it again they just meld with my feet and are very comfortable. Anyway, another wonderful video! Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the great content sir! Enjoy the holidays. The Russell Moccasins Backcountry was hands down my favorite. I also got a pair of barefoot Jim Green African Rangers in their Water buffalo leather that I love as a summer work boot. It seems to resist dust and dirt better than cowhide, yet is still very breathable.

Still trying to decide between the walnut veg tan or the bronco brown with the tyre wedge. Parkhurst is a favourite of mine too! In fact your initial unboxing review of the Brown Waxed Flesh Allen Stitchdowns is what convinced me to buy my pair. I’m looking now at either the Dune Roughout or the Nightshade Waxed Unicorn Allens.

I love Jim Green! I wanted to buy the Viberg service boot but the extremely high price + shipping to India + Customs did not make sense. I ultimately got the Grant Stone Diesel during their Black friday sale. The folks at Grant stone are simply lovely and the shipping was super fast. I received the boots in 3 days to India. After watching this video, now I am intrigued about Parkhurst as well. Keep going Tiek. Looking forward to your management/business strategy channel as well

I picked up a pair of Dievier Nomad Gen 1 in waxed midnight suede in August 2024. I was lucky to get the last pair in my size. What a comfortable boot! I think the African Ranger is my next purchase

I’d say my Nicks Roberts are my favorite pair, but Truman’s are a close second. I’ve worn the Truman’s more and more and it’s been less and less because it’s the middle of the Thunderdome. I purchased Quoddy canoe shoe and Truman black waxed flesh. The Nicks were purchased in 2023 but didn’t getting worn until 2024. The Truman are my 2024 dome boots. I purchased a pair Bordon Tukano 2023 but took 13 months. They’ll be under my Christmas tree in a week and a half. In 2025 I’d like to buy a parkhurst service boot and finally purchase a 8 inch urban logger.

I have been interested in the Jim Green brand of boots, I would love to get a pair. This year I bought the Allen Stitchdown - Bordeaux Veg Tan (618) From Parkhurst. I find them to be one of my most comfortable pair of boots, every bit as comfortable as my Viberg Service Boot 2030 BCT - Toscanello Vachetta Lucida, which are top notch quality and comfort.
