Again, Very handy for the Gruaig! 😂 I use a pound shop can of spray oil after every use. Stops the acidity eating into the blade. They are all a massive pain in the bottom to take apart & reassemble. Those injection molding engineers do get my admiration!

@@bootsowen aahhhhhhhh 🙄, Sometimes I have to ask meself, Why do I even bother trying 😔. On the blades to Stop them Rusting !

There used to be a bottle of Vaseline hair oil at the chemists, it might work on the blades, probably smells great. Not my cup of tea! Have you found @DeanDohertyGreaser ? He brings a more practical business approach to tool repair. He is up in Moville in Donegal Fixings. I've been there a few times, a super shop. Tons of top tools.

@@bootsowen funny you mentioned that. I only tripped over his channel last week & was going to suggest it to you. Yes a very versatile fellow. Suppose you'd have to be self reliant up there.

Saved me from going mad about this switch. I'm glad somebody in the world has a little more patience than me!!

Great, thanks for the tip, It feels good when something goes back together again. I didn't really understand the design, but it is what it is!

You have got to pleased with that!. A resurrection of an hedge trimmer that was passed up by some one. Well done that man!

Thanks I thought that one pice was missing, but thanks to you I realised that the red lever enters the black piece and as you said, red is the safety and the black is the switch to, start feeling pain in your back😉.

Actually really helpful. I have a 6000 version that suddenly stopped. I think that it might be the brushes which I can get a replacement for, but I wasn't sure how to get that handle arrangement back together having taken it all apart. Obviously patience is one of the best tools for the job.

It is some handle. You have to have equal patience to watch the video!

@@bootsowen i don't blame you, life can get very stress full at times. Stress at work screwed me up. Keep using a massive box of swears, better than making yourself ill. I mean that.
