Boox Pro2 Pen - felt nibs and eraser feature!

Hi Kit, I'm really struggling to find good pencil feel replacement nibs for the standard Boox pens that aren't crazy expensive. The Boox brand seem to be $5 per nib... What are your recommendations? a lot of the Amazon ones are too slippery. Thanks!

Just FYI, they supply 1 spare nib *inside* the pen. Just twist off the eraser piece to access it. At least, they do now! Not sure it that was true when this was published.

I tried this today actually. The nib in the eraser part will not work to write, only erase. They are different shapes and sizes

The eraser end is easy to break. Mine stopped working after 3 days. I had to send it back for a replacement.

But....if you have the 3 air C or ultra, don't they have smartscribe where you just scribble over what you like and it goes away?

Are the pen felt nibs Boox Marker Tips? I don’t know where I can get the same replacement nib.

Is there a nib cover? Is the nib retractable?

Yeah, there is a little rubber lid for the pen. I just don't ever use them.

@@KitBetts-Masters I find the rubber cover a stupid and cheapy solution. It is not connected to anything and over time stretches out. Have to stuff it somewhere everytime you want to use the device. Lost mine somewhere along the way (use the thing a lot when in the workshop etc, moving about) A retractable nib would make sooo much sense. With a twist mechanism or so would be really nice.

in u.s. box back for pen2 pro says felt exchangable. i really cannot figure out how to find the felt nib....and know it works with this. can you offer any help? really like your vids. they're what made me decide on note air2 plus and pen2 pro. thanks.

Hello, I think any of the Boox nibs should work. I also think it's the standard wacom nib so you could try that. Sorry I can't be more help. It was weird it didn't come with spares.

can you use this with a windows tablet like the Asus flow Z13?

You can use it with any tablet which uses wacom EMR sensitive layer, so you'd just need to check that! (I think Asus use their own pens though.)

Mediocre product, Onyx goes backwards. They had a side button with the first Max, a light, elegant pen. This pen is chunky and heavy.
