wow.. lots of things.. Awesome to see Ahran again.. and Derrick's successful experiment with Smashed Burgers, never knew D'Andre is such a strong chef now.. idea of doing Masterchef tour using tour knowledge and experience.. and it still shocks me that Season 5 /6 is like that 10 years ago and I'm like 31 this year.

I remember watching Season 5 and a few episodes in watching with great surprise Ahran completely give Lesley “both barrels” in a team challenge. It was wild, and I was surprised. Now years later realizing that she was 18 at the time it makes sense. Everybody mellows with age. Me being under MasterChef pressures, on TV and being 18, I think I would’ve been pretty brutal in some instances.

The way Ahran got eliminated was stupid. They had 3 contestants do a pressure test, and then eliminated 2 of them. Double eliminations in the early episodes when there are 18-20 contestants is one thing, but when you narrow the field down to the final 8-10 it just feels wrong. Then again, it sounds like the winners are predetermined and none of you really get a fair shot at winning anyway

AND it was the only time they did a double elimination. They didn't do it in the next elimination rounds OR the previous ones. It felt like they were out for someone it was so unfair.

This was a fun chat! You said something I agree with. Christine would be an awesome permanent judge. I think Nick was worried about coming across as rude as a judge. Christine isn't rude at all, but she's not afraid to be direct.

It's also kind of interesting to me that there is "paranormal energy theory" over there in US as well, I thought my country here would be more superstitious. There's this paranormal theory Law of Attraction, where things with 'similar energy levels' would resonate and are more likely to come together, while things dissimilar of energy levels would more likely not come together. Like, if one person is often thinking "I want to make a lot of money", this person is actually giving off an energy level that he/she is poor, so it's less likely that this person and money would come together.

She is so naive, narcissistic, waste of time and should have never been on Masterchef! She just wanted her 15 minutes of fame! Team Leslie! Age doesn’t matter in this, maturity does and she lacks that even to this day.

We are all a little naive the first time we enter the MasterChef kitchen… and at 18 we could all say we are immature… but in this interview you can clearly see she has grown and matured wonderfully and gracefully. So respectfully as the host I disagree with your statement and stand by Ahran and her excellent ability to cook in any avenue she cares to. Your comment lacks maturity and you wouldn’t last five minutes in the MasterChef kitchen so don’t think you have the right to judge anyone else’s time there.
