Tapping. Shift + HOLD button on the desired FX unit. You can also increase or decrease the current bpm value with shift + beats encoder in the FX unit

maybe, but it has a knob on the front panel for that. My samples are always well balanced, so their volume doesn't differ much. Fader might be overkill for that.
