Great video in searing heat!!! I even love the background music you choose...always seems appropriate! But any Southwestern tune is great!

Thank you! Any excuse to use some atmospheric music I can get my hands on... we love it too. 😊

Neat spot for a hot spring 😎 I have the same over heating problems 🤔 now I carry a backup 👍

Would have been really cool in the day sitting in the spring with the view of the river I bet. 😄

I just finished watching and 👍 every video on your channel. Took me a couple months but I "Crushed it"! Kinda sad now because I have to wait on your next video. Look forward to seeing them. Keep threading those needles 🪡!

I think you are a little crazy hiking in that heat in what looks like the heat of the day! Its a beautiful area- I wouldn’t be so calm hiking in that heat!!
@CactusAtlas2 жыл бұрын
LOL! I think Glenn is a little nutty as well but unfortunately when there is only so much time in the day (and there were 3 videos filmed that day!) one tends to push despite temps. 😅

Thank you for the adventure. Nothing like that in NE Ohio. I agree, no border wall in places like that.

Very pretty! Some of that country looks like it would be prone to flash flooding which would probably take out any border wall. Thanks for the video
@CactusAtlas2 жыл бұрын
Very true! In fact, flash flooding does happen and not long after this video was filmed, the trail to the spring was flooded and closed.

That waterfall is still pretty, but maybe after a nice t-storm it would be stunning.

Great video. I've never been to Big Bend so I have been really loving checking out your videos on it. Tell me about the over heating issue on the cameras! Nothing is worse than it shutting down during a shot haha
@CactusAtlas2 жыл бұрын
Hopefully you'll get an opportunity to visit Big Bend one day. Truly a spectacular place. And yes... the frustration of the camera just saying, "Had enough. Going to nap now" while filming. 😂

Living in Texas, a tax payer and lover of beautiful views, I agree no ugly walls should be built. Let history be there for the future residence to see the wonder of our earth. Glenn, please be careful in this kind of heat.

It's just such a beautiful and natural area there. Really enjoy seeing it the way it is. 😊

Loved that hot spring! I've never seen such a clear video of where the water was percolating up from the earth. I was really worried about you getting too close. ⛲

Would have been nice if there was such thing as a cool springs given the heat that day. Agree about the clearness! It was really cool to see.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful Mexican handcrafts, and historic Native American art all in one video. That's quite something, even if it did mean an overheating camera. 🏜️🌡️

I really nice blending of cultures, isn't it? 😊 And not the first time the camera has overheated but certainly the most frustrating. 🤣
@lakefromeshippingcompany2 жыл бұрын
@@CactusAtlas Yes, it's a fascinating cultural blend. And didn't know that the Rio Grande was at some point just a trickle between the stones, with a hot spring next to it. KZbinrs who carry on filming regardless of the weather always impress me. 📷

You NAILED it Glenn. My thing is Go After the people, businesses, farms, motels, factories, corporations HIRING people that came here Illegally they won't have a reason to come here. I live in NC & have seen the above first hand. Hard for people to find a job when those being hired are payed 25% under the table & face no prosecution when they get caught with illegal workers. Rant done Anyways another great video & would hate to see it ruined.

True... Florida has some humidity but compared to here in Arizona it's HUMID. 😅 We're not used to moisture in the air! 🤣

I know this vid is months old, but FYI no one has discussed a wall on the Rio Grande in Big Bend or any of the other rough terrain areas on the border. Trump never planned for one in those areas. As you mentioned they are too inhospitable for large scale human trafficking. Otherwise, I think most Americans agree we do need a secure border, and that the asylum laws should not be abused as they are right now. I otherwise enjoy your videos and insights.
