I just purchased this same Bora twin rail rip guide the other day but haven't used it yet. I need to make some kitchen cabinet doors (slab doors) this weekend and this rip guide looks like it will do the job quite nicely with perfect straight cuts. Thanks for your informative video!

How did you prevent the plywood from not moving when you were cutting? I bought this recently and I’m trying to rip a 4x2’ 3/4” plywood board and it moves as I’m cutting it. It can’t be clamped obviously..your plywood looks about the same size in this video. Thanks.

I actually did clamp the plywood to my Bora Centipede using some small Jorgensen clamps originally, but the outrigger was hitting them. So, I left one end clamped while I cut and when I made it to that clamp, I moved the clamp to the back end where I had just cut.

I'm having an issue with mine. With the handle on the left and the saw on the right , can you get the full 24" rip width ?

@@ReluctantDIYers I tried three of my different DeWalt saws. The only way I can get it to work is if I have it so my left hand is operating the circular saw. Great for lefties not great for the rest of us. Definitely could be missing something but I'm not sure what it is

Checked it out, you need a blade right saw, if you have a worm drive like me or other blade left saws it won't work with your right hand .

@@RedSealCarpentry That makes a lot of sense. So if you want the full 24” you have to flip the saw.

@@ReluctantDIYers yeah, why wouldn't they just make the rails 2" longer ?? That's all they'd need to do to make it work with any saw. It's a great tool but that's a big design flaw I think.
