They have done so much all over the world. BTS has done more than just sing. They work with Unicif they have sent large amount of meat to feed the hungry, money to children with cancer to people to make sure they get the shots for Covid. & save a school. Some other iconic moments id like to include: First korean artists to headline Wembley Stadium 1st korean artists to perform at American award shows, win, and be invited to top talk shows on American tv. 1st korean artists to do a stadium tour in the US. Breaking on to the BB charts. Kpoppies thinking they won't be able to sell out stadiums or albums and then them so in minutes( US, singapore, Japan, etc) MOTS:7 selling 4M albums - they become the biggest seller in Korea. Carpool Karaoke, Tiny desk performance, and MTV unplugged performance, BBC Live lounge. 4 shows that really brought in new fans and allowed locals to really see bts and appreciate them more. Their 2020 documentary and ptd concert being screened in theatres across the world and doing extremely well. Their collab with Coldplay. The largest groups with similar messaging changing pop culture and perceptions about groups forever. Their 2021 Rolling Stone cover, and and their 2021 GQ and Vogue Magazine issues. They were on the cover of multiple gq and vogue magazines for different countries and were the 1st male artist to feature in some of those countries. (Hong Kong I think?) Their 2019 SNL performance Their 2021 Indian interview! Them deciding not to really attend Korean variety shows after 2017 and working on Run bts, bon voyage, in the soop. Oooh also American Hustle life is too iconic not to mention. Them being featured in the Korean National Anthem. Bts being open to gender fluid clothing and saying gender doesn't matter in fashion and have sported skirts, corsets, and fish nets. Rm being the 2nd most and youngest credited song writer in KOMCA Bts writing songs of political importance and social commentary including Bapsae, Dope, Paldogangsan, Equal sign. Their concert with Seo Taiji and their cover of come back home. Sampling huge hip hop artists such as J Cole and the Woo Tang Clan The media falsely announcing that bts were breaking up when they are holding a concert in October 2022 for the bid at the 2030 Busan Expo Rm being hugely influential in the art and museum space that Korean galleries are divided into the ones he's visited and the one's he's not. And his podcast with Art Basel. Jin releasing Super Tuna and highly influencing the fisheries industry in Korea and Japan. Bts releasing Idol with Korean traditional sounds and costumes in response to being too westernised. Rm calling out James Corden publicly for messing with Armys. The Purple Ribbon project Bts being the #1 artist on IFPI global artist charts 2 years in a row All thier MMA, MAMA performances Bts being the biggest brand in Sk compared to Samsung and contributing nearly 3% to the nation's GDP Donating 1M$ to the BLM movement and Army matching the same amount in 24 hrs Them being crackheads in interviews 😂 Honestly there are so many more and I'll probably keep adding 😅. Please feel free to add more to this. Especially stuff from more earlier on in their career as I may not be as familiar with those.

But when I discovered BTS and Army I fangirled for the first time EVER. I have watched and read as much content I can find on them and am amazed and humbled by who they are. I have read the hateful messages that are thrown at them and seen how a well established awards show used their popularity as ratings bait. ( we all know who I'm refering to ) I cried when they announced that they were stepping back as a group to work on solo projects. But I am glad that they were insightful enough as a whole to step back to find their lode-star again. They say they are overrated because they think they made it only because of their music and their fans. But it's not just because of that. They made it because they worked hard and trusted their talent even though they were from a small company. They connected with fans even though they had a busy schedule as rookies. made me tear up a lil bts has been breaking records since 2016 but since it's so normal for them to be this big now I always forget the importance of specific awards because they achieve so much, so glad to have been part of their journey and can't wait to see what else the future holds for bts and armys *side note, namjoon's comment at the start reminded me of a conversation I had early 2017 to this person in my class they told me bts will probably not make it big etc, so I told them to wait a bit and see how big they get, and i saw this person the other day and it was an interesting conversation

same thing with the isac race that foreshadows their success is when they cam out on stage at an awards show wearing colorful pokemon outfits while other were wearing formal outfits 😂 that was just symbolic of what bts is and what bts did that sets them apart from others.

Bts I'd just amazing, I literally have tears in my eyes. I became army just 3 months ago, in starting of May and I regret not stanning them before but it's okay because I think I found them at exact time I should have, they came to me like angels and I'm so grateful for them( FYI I'm 22) they are helping me love myself and accepting myself which I used to struggle before, I love them and I'm proud that I found them, I purple them 💜💜💜 thank you for making this video 💜💜

It's not even the fact that they're famous. They're my role models because they started from being small-town-boys, who'd get bullied and lots of hate comments, to, LITERALLY, worldwide, with the biggest fanbase ever. The fact that, even through the hard times, they'd still tell us to be safe, and healtly, and to eat. They inspired us. They don't like their job just because they're famous. They like their job because of every single ARMY out there. These seven boys inspire us, but we all inspire them.

2014 ARMY here... every now and then I have to sit back and take a breath just thinking about what has happened over the last 10 years. Can you imagine how different our mindset was back then? Our wildest dreams never even approached the reality we have now, that was all so far beyond the horizon. We were only looking at one small mountain ahead of us, and when we reached the peak another higher mountain would be revealed, so we kept climbing. But at the same time there was this feeling of limitless potential, of "...what if? ...could we? maybe?" so we just kept running and running and hoping and dreaming with Bangtan, and now here we are. I wonder where we'll go next in 2025?

I love how in your last point highlighting the discography, you picked my same top 4 fav bts albums i always tell new fans to listen too - Dark & wild, Wings, LY: Tear, and MOTS7. These 4 albulms are a strong representation of the strenth and legendary status of a flawless discography. I would add Most Beautiful Moment in Life : Young Forever as honorary mention💜

Seeing this video alone shows that BTS,has brought so much money and Recognition to South Korea... That they should be exempt from going into the military. They’ve done 100 times more than most citizens even athletes for South Korea.
