Big thanks for watching. This one had a great crew, a whole bunch of misfits, I wouldn't have it any other way. PLEASE HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON, it helps a lot to make these videos possible.

Looked like a great day. Really have enjoyed watching this series. I grew up in the shadows of those mountains ... never get tired of seeing them.

Thanks Ed. I agree that these mountains are something special, I really enjoy them.

This video was awesome, fantastic job! I skied the north face of Borah solo in July of 1999. It was incredibly sketchy that time of year, particularly downclimbing the cliff-out at the head of Rock Creek drainage. The bushwhack out of Rock Creek with skis on the pack was a living hell, and I remember taking a nap part way out from utter exhaustion. Looking back to those days, I’m amazed I survived that 18 hour trip. To this day it was the hardest thing I’ve done.

That looked like a pretty technical top. I think I would have chickened out. Give me bare rock and I'll scale anything, but all that snow makes me nervous!

You would have done really well.

Great video Dan - what video camera did you use? Great shots and nicely edited.
@DanNoakes4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jay Junk! For this one I believe I was using the GoPro Hero 5. Joel was using another camera for his footage, but I don't know what he was using.

When did you do this hike? I’m hoping to do it but not sure if January is a good time to make the hike.
@gculligan553 жыл бұрын
Based on how dry the bottom is, and the potential avalanche hazards, this was surely done in late Spring. Looks like March or April to me.
@DanNoakes3 жыл бұрын
I think we did it in April.

What's coming down the pipe this year?

I’m glad you asked. Before winter hits I have another chill hop mix coming out, Castle Peak ski, Mt. Rainier failed summit attempt, and then I want to put together more relaxing edits, similar to the one I made of me in the South Fork, no music, no talking, just footage of hiking, scenery, and skiing. I’ve been MIA this whole summer because I’ve been on orders with the Air Guard. I’m excited to get home. What about you? What kind of content would you like to see me create?

Yea, but WHEN? When was this climb?

I filmed this one in April of 2019
