Oh God! I was laughing so hard when the old robot came and he wanted to press that bell while it was rambling on. I work in customer service and that's exactly how it is. You just inch slowly to that bell to get rid of them.

its part of your job to set the each robot on fire to determine their flammability, so I think you could try to lob the flame-grenade at the line of robots to test them before they even reach your booth, saves time, and its fire.

Alright, I gotta mention something, I've held back long enough. Heck, it's part 6 already. wow.. Anyhow, to the point.. I dunno why, but all of "this" reminds me of Vogons. (HGttG) Vogon: "Prisoner release form?" Human: [Lots of time passes by while filling out tons of papers, finishes and turns them in.] "Sorry, this isn't a presidential release of prisoner form, those are blue." ---and you can't forget: "Now, according to the galactic Penal Code, the punishment for a presidential kidnapping is to be fed to the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal." "Good day." ---This is where you pull the lever and they fall into the bottomless pit of despair, followed by echoing massive beast growling from within. I dunno.. I get it, it's a wierd "take". But I just sorta get that vibe in this game. Don't get me wrong, I love me a Vogon as much as the next person. They have excellent taste in poetry. Absolute Perfection.
