This government administration building was widely scorned by everyone who knew about it: the seemingly infinite bureaucracy, the neverending paperwork, the impossible requisites to get everything in order and get your passport approved to cross the border and enter the neighboring country. Pretty much none of the thousands of people trying to cross this border actually succeded. Many people thought the government just didn't want their people to leave and were just masquerading that behind a maze of tiresome and frustrating work. If only they knew what had happened deep inside the other country... If only they got to read the reports coming from there... They'd be eternally grateful their admittedly corrupt and faulty government was actually trying to protect them from true horror.
