Our elders always speak about hunting, traveling, living in such vast lands beyond the wall of concrete that's accompanied us all our life. They also speak about an impossible invasion in ancient times, a large group of unrecognizable beings who appeared out of nowhere, and the locals suddenly dropping dead while the invaders didn't even seem to move. Maybe those are just horror stories to scare children at night, though. It's true that the wall doesn't seem to have an end, our town is rather small, and we survive mostly as scavengers, but we've never feared for our lives, or at least I haven't. We never see anyone from the other side other than a passing shadow here and there, they seem to mostly ignore us. That said, I've always liked just how orderly and perfect the wall looks. I've spent many of my empty hours just staring at it. Those people look so organized, so structured, so... superior. I wonder if they would accept me as one of them some day...

Ubicado en un lugar remoto se encontraban estos grandes muros de aspecto simple, solitario y abandonado. En ocasiones algún vehículo perdido llegaba a conducir por esta estrecha vía sin nada mas que una tremenda inquietud y sensación de ser observado por alguien dentro esas grandes torres de vigilancia. A veces algún curioso se asomaba por las colinas circundantes y se percataba que detrás de aquellos muros había un enorme, llano y árido descampado, esto solo generaba dudas del porque construir semejante estructura con el propósito de proteger un lugar que, a simple vista no parecía ser de provecho. Lo cierto es que debajo de ese enorme descampado se encontraba un complejo gubernamental secreto conocido solo por gente selecta. Siendo sincero es preferible que la gente siga ignorando tal hecho pues no están listos para conocer las oscuras, misteriosas y a veces grotescas cosas que ocurren en esas instalaciones subterráneas. 💙

And then he awoke..healed..his brethren still dead, one order pervaded his mind..the wall..go to the wall..the forest of eyes awaits the return of the black....and he knew then that he was chosen.
