best parts: Interfacer {hyperion grip/stock+vertical grip}, Conference call {hyperion grip/stock+vertical grip}, Slow hand {hyperion grip/stock+vertical grip}, Butcher {hyperion grip/stock+vertical grip}, Flakker {Torgue or Jakobs grip+torgue stock+vertical grip}, SWORDSPLOSION!!! I have a lv 50 Bandit shotgun with a Tediore barrel, Bandit grip, and Hyperion stock. It's got a 23-round magazine, no sight, and a decent fire rate, reload speed, accuracy, and pellet spread. I got it from my first Hyperius kill, with 3 friends playing. I remember it well. Good stuff.

Jakob`s with a Tediore barrel are nice, fire 1 shot at a time, no reduction in mag (unlike hyperion) so the mag is bigger. ( # of shots) Maya, and gauge are good with those parts.

I think an ascetically pleasing set of Shotguns would look good with: Torgue base, Hyperion stock Tediore barrel, Bandit grip, Shotgun shells accessory, and a Torgue sight. As well as: (Any) Base, Tediore Stock, Bandit barrel, Torgue grip, Shotgun Shells accessory, No sight.

Loving these videos they are really useful! Quick question, what would be the best attachments for the Slow hand? I noticed you said that matching a gun and its grip gives a mag increase and reload speed increase, but since it is hyperion, it will reduce damage.

Little annoying that 3 of the attachments look the same. I’m struggling to tell apart the “sidewinder, well kept, and Huntin” attachments it’s kindof a sham because “well kept” seems to be the best attachment. Does anyone know of a way to tell these apart visually to prevent having to remember weapon prefixes?

Bahroo, just a suggestion, you should make a gun that is entirely torgue and entirely jakobs etc so you can show them all at the same time. I think it would be a lot less time consuming, plus it would help us to see what the parts look like on the guns as well. If you read this and take this into consideration, thank you.

So from this you could possibly figure out how many weapons there are in the game. (All of the attachments for each brand of each kind of guy + legendary weapons + unique weapons) all multiplied by the number of levels.

Jonathan Keeler A gun with the same parts be it level 5 or 15 or 30 is still the same gun, except for prefix usually. Doesn't make it that unique, the thing that matters is possible part combinations, sadly Borderlands 2 had a lot of restrictions for that, making the amount of loot less interesting and less in amount than BL1. Also have fun reading your comment after 5 years, internet is a tkme capsule innit.

i know i'm late, but you said in this and in the pistol vid that jakobs decreases the fire rate and i don't know but on my jakobs pistols and shotguns it mostly says : "fires as fast as you can pull the trigger" wich in my case is almost always way faster than the fully auto stuff .... so yeah i dont know if something got patched , but at least on pistols and shotguns that means nothing

It's a special ad-on to most jakob guns, the slower fire rate affects guns that are not JAKOBS.

If you took a shotgun to the range that had both a scope and a stockless pistol grip, you'd get laughed at. And you'd deserve it too. XD 1:45 Wait, it decreases both accuracy and the pellet spread? But isn't shotgun accuracy factored by pellet spread? Tighter pattern = better effective range = better accuracy. 3:06 I actually like Splatguns. Especially slag ones with blade attachments. Closest thing there is to a grenade launcher that's actually worth using. The Dahl Grenadier sucks. 3:14 They call it a "grip," but it's actually a forearm. And the Jakobs "stock" is actually a stockless pistol grip. 6:25 Increases accuracy even though it's a stockless pistol grip. So insulting. 7:00 Yeah, because double-barrel shotguns apparently have magazines now. So insulting. 7:44 What effect does that have on a Splatgun? 8:40 Shotgun scopes are insulting. Reflex sights are okay, but ir0n sights are all you need.

Its a goofy videogame, theres a gun that screams at you, another fires pellets in a chomping motion. You can shoot acid and ice. A double barrel shotgun with a drum mag is the least unrealistic thing about the whole thing

It's just stuff like unnecessary cocking (which both of my top jams, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Borderlands, are guilty of) and iron sights that don't line up right that irk me. And folding or collapsible stocks left in their storage position. And spinning revolver cylinder for no reason. And twirling LOADED handguns. Stuff like that. Make-believe, though, I'll all for that.

@@judsongaiden9878 ill give you the sight thing, but the rest seem more like stylistic choices. Unnecessary reload? The classic cha-chunk is badass and makes for good sensory feedback. I love how fucking chunky torgue guns sound for example. Undeployed side folding stocks look fricking neato too.

spitrio The barrel affects how many shots are consumed. Hyperion and Tediore use 1 per shot. Jakobs uses 2. Bandit uses 3. Torgue uses 4.
