So, all side quests will be available after completing the story eh? Looks like this will be the first game I do all my side quests after finishing the main game. The ability to turn on Mayhem Mode and then go back to complete everything is such a nice feature. UPDATE: I have no self control

Yup! In a lot of games doing too many sidequests makes the main story mode way too easy as you end up basically OP. This is a pretty damn interesting mechanic.

@@So_Civil only do one sidequest. It's not until Eden-6 but it's called Raiders Of The Lost Rack. It gives you a Porcelien Pipe Bomb grenade mode that basically can 1-2 hit any of the bosses if you hit the enemy.

Well point of TVHM is that you can do all side missions and the campain again, so no need to save side missions. At least that's how it was in BL2

In the previous games, the side quests leveled to 35 on first playthrough, 50 on second and were scaled to your level on 3rd playthrough. They adjusted the xp amd level scaling in this game so that's why it's different.

I finished the campaign and this video popped up in my suggest field. I'm SO glad it did! I was about to do True Vault Hunter Mode to level because I didn't realize I could just go in Mayhem 1 mode and start farming that way. Holy crap, I didn't want to do the campaign all over again!

Me trying out mayhem mode: Mayhem mode 1 vs final boss: 2-3 legendaries drop. Mayhem mode 3 vs final boss: 1 legendary drops I must say 500% loot quality is really great. Note: when defeating the final boss with mayhem mode 3 i had +luck w artifacts and guardian rank.

It is the legendary drop from shrakk I think. You can find him for the legendary hunt outside the building for mouthpiece on that map.

Currently it seems to be bugged for console players, PC players can activate mayhem at the beginning of their TVHM, while Xbox and PS4 currently cannot.

Jif Yeah, that’s the thing though. I saw a reply from Gearbox on a thread saying that this is not actually a bug, but a feature... Gearbox seems to be intentionally dodging this issue. An absurd choice for such a massive problem. As a console player, I’m extremely let down by BL3 so far. It is clearly a game built around endgame features, yet on console, the endgame is irrefutably broken. And Gearbox has abandoned the primary issue. Honestly at this point, I want my money back.

I miss Badass ranks...It was much more fun doing different and sometimes difficult challenges. It made exploring more interesting and it kept everything (for along time at least) new. Guardian Modes are basically just leveling again, it gets boring very fast. At least there are different modes and things to do, but it seems like a much smaller amount compared to BL2. It just seems (to me at least) that it’s missing something...not sure what but...Oh I hope they do another Bunkers and Badasses like BL2 that was a blast! Oh, and great video by the way!

@Ryancentral, you have negative tokens because you earned more levels than you had in the video(67), but some kinda desych lowered your rank when you reloaded the game or changed lobbies or something. But you kept the tokens you spent, causing you to have negative available

Do take note tho, something I didn't think about or realize until after I beat the final boss, some side missions become unavailable to you once you beat the final boss since that person is no longer around. There were some loot I couldn't get without starting a new char.

The Neg guardian points is because you did the offline glitch and gained experience. When you reconnect to the servers the amount of exp you should have earned does not match with what you have. So to make up for it you have to "earn" the exp again in online mode. This goes towards balancing out the amount of exp you should have verse what you have. You get to keep the perks but have to balance out the exp before earning more online guardian ranks again.

I’m kind of confused, I have mayhem 6-10 weapons, good ones, like a nighthawk and stuff, got a strong amara build, but I still can’t kill most people on mayhem 6. I am level 53, but if I had mayhem 6 weapons you’d think I’d do damage

What I don't get, if you do the mayhem modes prior 50 every level up will devalue the gear you have gotten before. Maybe I get something utterly wrong here, but from my point of view mayham modes and TVHM actually does only start to make sense at level 50 because you don't have to refarm stuff after a levelup. I would love to see an evaluation and proving me wrong. From my understanding what seems efficient for me right now are public games doing stuff like cistern of slaughter, and while I play in a group level scaling is on. So I get always appropiate amount of exp to go for 50, that is my idea at least. Once I reach 50 I hope that I can up my gear through mayham modes to have an easy time in TVHM without having to rely on crappy purples or farming bosses endlessly. I hope you get my idea, if you can provide arguments against it, I would be glad.

If you finish campaign, you can start TVHM on Mayhem 3, don't need to finish TVHM to unlock Mayhem again.

In Plauthrough One you can turn it off and everything will be its set lvl, Mayhem 2 and 3 are much more challenging but offer better loot and XP.
