I platinumed BL3 a few weeks ago. It was extremely enjoyable. No painful grinding. All classes felt strong. Story wasn't great, but definitely the best gunplay and end game in the series.

Tbh I tend to agree. This being my first entry into the series, can’t compare it with other titles but as a standalone entity, it was quite fun. The DLCs, I found to be a little more hit or miss though.

There is a few tricks for if you want the game to be easier. Just in case the 100% involves having to fight all the raidbosses. If you want legendaries to flow like water, the borderlands science machine (the mini game in the doctors office) has various bonuses you can buy. The buttstallion milk greatly increases the odds of world drop legendaries. If you find yourself very weak in terms of guns, you can always turn on mayhem scaling at level 10-11 then use the Eridian fabricator (the gun that shoots loot) and then fire the legendary mode. then you can turn off the mayhem mode so you have weapons of a higher damage range than what you should be using. Now for the biggest tip I can give. If you really want to be the strongest possible, looking up a guide on a build can help. There is also farming certain bosses for items. The most powerful item in the game is a shield called the Re-volter. But honestly all that ain't necessary, just playing the game how you want to is the best way to go about it.

That is a lot of expertise, thanks! I kinda already went through the 100% right after finishing the main game lol. I ain’t gonna lie, even though I decided against testing it, I kinda guessed switching over to mayhem mode and shooting out guns with the Eridian fabricator would work. However seemed a bit wrong to do that. The biggest problem I think I had was, not sifting through loot often enough. I usually obsessed over a gun until it was obvious that it did not perform anymore. After finishing everything, I watched a few videos on different builds and my lord does it make a massive difference. Now I know but as you said for my first time playing the series, learning as I went felt more satisfying.

You seem to be a veteran. I barely noticed the guns had unique attachments by the time I got to the end... The best thing I found about Zane were his out of pocket voice lines.
