I’d recommend going into the double agent skill tree if your going to get the seein red perk otherwise you’ve only got like 3/4 kill skills to activate and then it’s a waste of points really🤷‍♂️

Cold Heart is a great skill to invest points into. Shotguns tend to proc the skill alot. I find myself almost always freezing enemies in place. Auto rifles are also effective because of the number of bullets you can spray into an enemies crit. Although I find the skills to be good, the shield itself is very lackluster. It does a horrible job at keeping you safe. All elemental attack just go through the shield. It barely lasts.

There is no best build really. They have so much customization that its mostly playstyle in some areas of the skill trees. Either way though why foes nobody ever put points into that life steal skill? Its incredibly useful. Even the drone damage heals you

this is really bad advice, u should have a point in every kill skill if ur doing a kill skill build and shield capacity is worse than health shield recharge and healing are most important defensive stats

@@attatara5364 in all borderlands games there is a thing called health gating, if u have over half hp you wont die in the next hit so healing is always best, lifesteal and regen and shield effects usually came from the shield being full so a bigger shield will delay the bonus effect

I was honestly surprised to find out that skills granted from your class mod are active whether or not you have put enough points into the skill tree to unlock it. As far as I can remember, previous games made you put at least one point into a skill before you got the bonuses. Not exactly relevant to the discussion, but could be depending on the class mod.

Nothing sticks out in clone? Bro I’ve bn melting enemies with it. Your clone gets the same weapon that you have equipped so it’s like having another player with a super powerful gun that also attacks well. Having the ability to swap places and also have increased gun damaged is very effective! I would say it’s more of a solo class so once you get to end game stuff and 4 player situations it’s defo over to the shield and drone.

I have a level 50 Zane in TVHM and the build people in the comments are claiming you should’ve done has a major weakness this build covers. It gives you OK damage and good survivability, the problem with the high damage lifesteal build is you can’t deal damage against enemies you can’t deal damage to, Like bosses or anointed. The kill skills will go away and you’ll die during their invincible phases, Ive literally ran away from these anointed enemies and been shot from a different room. All though I can melt most enemies including badass ones and live easily due to my high damage and healing. I die to my builds one weakness. This build covers that weakness at the cost of speed and damage. I think this build is better than people are saying and that they should give it a try instead of roasting you. Especially for solo play this build is strong.

Zane can be a dope dps(currently building him) Building grenades perks on digi-clone and using the last perk which lets the digiclone use ur welcome(always hold out a really power weapon that isnt a hold to pumpshotgun, I used an automatic element based pistol just cause its op and my digiclone replicates my weapon im holding, And pick 2good perk augments, Ima max digiclone tree, Sentinel is only good lvl1-15 but after is when you should digiclone tree/grenade building and reset your points

I use the clone I got a shot gun that deals 20000+ times 10 and that with the fact that the clone doesn't reload makes a good skill to have plus with the fact that if your down a kill from him will revive you it's good to have

Fire rate increase is a great stat tbh, you'll mow down health bars with the right rifle or smg

I'm also going drone route and barrier however digi clone has ability let's say if he is out of course and no enemies to kill I can use him to revive myself. I found myself alot in borderlands 2 going down with an enemy not in range. That could be useful to me. Ignoring bullets can be helpful cause it's duration gets a bonus from death follows close in drone category. If you put 5 into it it gets probably 50% right? So the death follows close gives it 25 % more also any kill skill that has duration gains 7 whole seconds more to its original time frame. I'll give it a shot when I get down that far in the tree I'm curious how good it is

There’s a lot of hate here instead I’m going to switch it up and point out that you can better synergize skills together to make the builds more solid. For example combining Violent Momentum with Violent Speed means after getting a kill you are already getting higher than that 20% gun damage bonus and it makes it easier to get higher damage. I would also equip the Bad Dose augment as it further allows you to get increased movement speed and also debuffs enemies which is very useful. I won’t pull apart the barrier build unless someone wants tips but just continue making content man and ignore the hate. With practice and some help along the way you will definitely improve and be able to help lots of people. Peace ✌️

It would be the best build if the barrier would stop bullets more than half the time one always slips through & damages you just as you freeze someone. The game is far to buggy atm to claim any build is even decent

This is literally the worst build I can possibly imagine for Zane. In the Hitman skill tree alone he skips two of the most important skills you can get for Zane that allows him to stay alive. THE SEEIN' RED SKILL DOES NOT GRANT ALL KILL SKILLS, ONLY THE ONES YOU HAVE PURCHASED. Considering he posted this video a day before the game launched, and has no ingame footage, I'm willing to bet he just randomly threw this together to try to get views out of day one players looking for builds from people that ACTUALLY had early access.

I like the synergy that you're going for in this build but one thing I'd like to point out is that violent momentum goes above 20% if you have higher than default speed. If you spec into momentum it's hugely beneficial to your damage to spec into skills like violent speed and supersonic man to further increase movespeed which in turn boosts violent momentum. Well made video I like the theory crafting. Keep it up
