Honestly, I think the Siren character is probably the most interesting because Tyreen had purple markings to represent her Siren powers, and this new character also has purple markings, making me think that she has Tyreen's power, which can be very, very powerful. Stealing other Siren abilities, absorbing, and combining with stuff, I'm gonna be excited to see what they do with her.

I don't hate the VH's at all, they got enough character for me, I'm probably going to be starting either with the left one (Zer0-esque with melee and probably sniper with that visor) or the big guy who's a viking, heh.

My take is that we're largely just going to be seeing just their hands anyway, being a FPS and all. Plus with heads and skins to change it up... It isn't that big of a deal. It's the personalities and action skills that will make them.

Again does nobody pay attention to the fact that a previous vault hunter, Zane, is literally in the trailer as an NPC now? This has been apart of the game since BL2 vault hunters evolve and become part of the story. It's not just a first person shooter it's the reason why we still get pre-made characters that we don't customize.

Honestly no idea what people issue is they looks exactly as flashy as all the base BL1 and 2 characters plus. THE GAME HAS SKINS it has all ways had skins and they change how they look.

Whats done is done. I would like to speculate the personality and abilities. Big guy being the cyber viking. Theres mere Mr. Spin that has athletic clothes. The siren look like a cold blooded killer ( tyreen's powers, i hope) and a tech nerd lady.

People are overreacting. ITS A FIRST PERSON GAME. If it was a 3rd person game then I’d understand the backslash. But 95% of the time you’re just gonna be looking at their hands and the weapons that are in their hands lol. What matters the most is their skills and if they’re op or not. All this backlash honestly just exposes the people that have actually played borderlands game, and the people that are just hating cause the popular woke hate train. If you have played borderlands and played it till the end game and have a lot of time in it, then you’d agree the gameplay, loot , and how op the characters feel matter the most. And also, borderlands has skins and heads to customize their looks and make them look cooler. The people that are hating and saying that they’re not buying the game just cause of how the default look of the vault hunters look just tells me who has and hasn’t played the games past just main story missions lol.

I know, for me, the disappointment in the vault hunters was due to seeing all those really cool looking enemies first. I was hyped. And then the vault hunters appeared looking a lot less cool. That is where my disappointment came from. The girl on the end, though, is a very big disappointment for me. She's so forgettable. You can't even see her face. I'll tell you what would be cool though, is if she's so dull because her action skill is something crazy like shape-shifting...huh!? That would be awesome 👍

The problem with the new VH is that when the trailer played i was like i guess their the new vault hunters let me pause and when you take a good look at them them all look the same and generic. Like with 1,2, and 3, you could kinda tell each architype of the character here. All the vh look like NPCs from cyber punk, I have no clue what their abilities are, and as mentioned before, each character looks really samey.

The VHs look no different than any other BL games. I personally never liked the look of any of the BL game characters. However, it's always the game play that brings me back.

Is my memory faulty, or do I remember Gear Box saying that they were going to be implementing rpg mechanics into Borderlands 4? I think the reason that they look the way that they do is because they are going to look wildly different as you play the game and equip different cybernetics. I think that's why the gameplay footage doesn't include clear looks at your companions. I think cybernetics will play as big of a role as guns in Borderlands 4.

Borderlands 3 vault hunters are unrememorable I don't even know their names or even what they look like and the game's cartoonish art style versus the grittiness good art direction of one and two. First impression is everything and Gearbox dropped the ball with the four vault hunters don't stand out at all they look like background NPC.

They are fine but in comparison with DL3 since its the closest title for me because i haven't played Tiny Tina Wonderland, they are kinda mid. I like the Siren and the black dude but the other 2 are npc looking. What i really care about is the story, DL3 was a dumpster set on fire before launch, i really really hope the bad guy is not like the twins.

I think once we get to know each vault hunters story we will probably grow to love them anyway anyways we don’t even look at our characters we see our hands and guns and plus like you said in the video borderlands does usually let us customize our vault hunter a little bit more to something we prefer

Not sure if this comment was directed at the video but I go over how I like them and thing their looks are good and that I know the game is taking a new tone this time around and I think they fit well with the vibe. I think they're fine, a little 'Blizzardy', but I enjoy how they're slightly similar to the old Unreal Tournament 04 characters. I will say, the far left and far right characters are too similar, so it makes them seem generic. Similar haircuts, both wearing parachute pants with tapered calves. It's fine though, I just want them to be interesting or likeable.
