shadow trap was the vaulthunter.exe program, and when claptrap is killed shadow trap used what was left of the vaulthunter.exe to revive claptrap so that he could live on, thats why claptrap cant use his vaulthunter.exe in borderlands 2, gearbox made a really good dlc, and an amazing character, that being shadow trap.

Fsborn Eh, I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that the four characters we get to choose from will all be new to us, like the BL2 vault hunters were. It would be cool if you could play as Krieg again, except this time he's more sane and has little moments where he goes back into his psycho state. I have a feeling Krieg's backstory could be incredibly badass, or just weird. Maybe both.

Zombie Wolverine Same. In Borderlands 1 and 2, I thought Clappy was a cool and funny, but slightly annoying at times sidekick/helper character, but when I completed TPS and the Claptastic Voyage as Clappy, my opinion of him changed from that to him being a bonafide badass robot who needs more love and acknowledgement from the other characters in the game. Heck, I even shedded a bit of a tear when I seen Clappy get betrayed by Jack in the end of the DLC. Poor guy.

Ky Taylor Yes, he survived so much and helped the Vault Hunters countless times. I felt that they overexagerated his annoyance too much. I mean it was funny but it sucked because nobody ever thanked him. I feel so much sympathy for him.

I like how athena turned away at the end in disgust that tells you a lot on her character. Also no one seems to care that all but one claptrap died. Also how he denied going with shadow trap because he called everyone his friend. Claptrap you could have killed every one and because you did not try they killed all of your kind and then tried to kill you but failed. Also this explains why jack was after him in bl2.

I'm glad that even the mighty Admiral Bahroo had a challenge with the final boss, even after blazing through most of the story with his one-or-two-shot shotguns. Of course the boss took him shorter than when I played it myself (and with less swearing than myself), but still…that's a helluva boss. Wish I wouldn't have quit early on when I thought TVHM was too easy and re-started the campaign on UVHM. Dang.

Gah, the final boss caused so much distress. I was playing a melee Athena and my shock weapons were a beam laser that couldn't go that far and a slow-firing sniper that I had picked up earlier and wanted to use in the grinder. And I was playing solo, so EOS would completely reset if I died. I wouldn't mind if this were a raid boss, because I'm always welcome to challenges like that, but I was playing on normal at level 37, and if you're at that point, you shouldn't really have to worry that much about having to create a specific build for a single boss you need to beat to progress the story.

Ouuuuccchhh. Melee Athena. I was rocking a Maelstrom/Aspis Athena, so I had decent damage and survivability (elemental damage is insane, plus healing from the shield), but this guy still took forever. I was lucky to get a ThunderFire from Despair/Self-Loathing. Crazy fight. Awesome fight, but crazy.

I've only solo'd this with Fragtrap so far, and I didn't know about the crit eye spot, so thanks for that piece of info. Clappy's survivability was the key for me, and I left all the glitches and swarmers alive as I ran around fighting, and my constant novas basically revived me for every FFYL. What an annoying, but ultimately satisfying battle. And a battle thats probably gonna be a nightmare for both Aureila & Nisha, because of how fragile they both are..

General thought of the dlcs: 1. A good corrosive weapon is a must. 2. Stay completely away from elemental containers, they will infinitely respawn in the same spot when destroyed. 3. Glitch weapons can be your unexpected trump card. Despite randomized, they are more reliable compared to seraph weapons. 4. Shadowtrap and EOS/Eclipse are horribly designed and incredibly difficult to defeat. They pose a great challenge when fought in UVHM due to their sheer cheapness.

Im glad gear box decided to tie up a minor loose end with this DLC however this also gives room for claptrap to come back as a vault hunter considering Wilhelm and Nisha are texhnically dead, and jack is just a program (more or less). The watcher alien did say we needed all the vault huntr we can get so i wouldn't be surprised if clap trap aurila and athena become playable characters

Glad I could watch the finale here. I was really enjoying this DLC a lot until I got to the final boss...First I ran into an audio glitch that forced me to reset my game. The worst of all though was when I hit the final shield charge stage on EOS...for some reason, the game decided to fully heal his HP...After an hour of that fight, I was so crushed that I turned the game off and shelved it. I lost all heart for playing that boss again after such an uphill fight and terrible glitch.
