The easiest way to get Jimmy Jenkins would be to use the “doctor’s orders” mission exploit in the wildlife preserve. If you go to the underdome area in the wildlife preserve and exit from there you’ll always spawn just before the area with all the loaders where you get blood wings feather. Then I’m the room with the chest and 4 boxes, don’t pick up the recording (or you can’t repeat the exploit) and just open the cardboard boxes which each spawn a loot midget and after a few runs one of them should eventually be a jimmy jenkins.

You can pick up the recording and loot midgets will spawn. Just do not turn in the mission and everything is going to work :D

I got insanely lucky. My first ever play through I got him in that exact spot and didn’t even know it was an achievement. My friend who had played it multiple times got up and walked away pissed and I didn’t know why till he finally calmed down and told me. He spent a good hour n 15 tryna get him to pop out. 🤣 he said and I quote “RNG can lick my fkn taint.” 🤣🤣

pretty much the only annoying achievements in the game are the all side missions and exploring ones (maybe also the effervescent one but its easy) and the rest “RNG” missions you get simply by playing the game.

"It's Like That One Video" is a reference to a bit by The Dead Alewives that was later made into an 8bit reenactment of D&D (in around 2010) which is what I'd recommend watching over the live bit. They're basically all high. At one point the DM is describing a new area they've entered, and one of the mages says "I cast magic missile.", to which the DM basically goes "huh? There's nothing to attack?" And the mage replies "I cast magic missile at the darkness."

I love borderlands 2, played the hell out of it on the 360. decided to 100% it on steam last year and its so funny seeing you experience the same pain I did with getting those damn rare enemies in the hammerlock dlc to spawn. Running through the map to travel to the next one so you could travel back to set your spawn there and then reloading the game 30 - 50 times to get ONE SPAWN OUT OF EIGHT

For your jimmy jenkins achievment you could have done a lootmidget farm in wildlife preservation i normally get a jimmy there like every 5 to 10 runs very easy

Yeah, this is definitely the way to go, go to the WEP, go halfway through, go into the slaughterdome there, walk right back out, go to the room with the 2nd echo log (you must kill all the loaders in the outside area first), open all four boxes, each have somewhere around a 90% chance to spawn a loot midget, which all have a chance of being Jimmy, and DO NOT pick up the echo log, instead, save-quit, and do it again until you get it. (This is more of a guide for anyone else who needs this achievement or just wants to farm legendary gear fairly quickly and easily)

The reason you felt some of the dlc were bad is because there is headhunter dlc and expansion dlc, the headhunters were mainly for a skin and possibly a weapon of some sort not 100%

Fun fact, that last achievement, thevone where you freakef out bdcausevyou got the toothpick first try? Drop rates are increased while you have the mission equipped that lets the sandwirs spawn. You usually get the toothpick or retainer killing both groups.

I’m biased because BL2 of my favorite games, but the negative narrative you spun around this game is pretty flawed. I think the biggest mistake and the reason you had a bad time with the game was that you never left normal mode, you easily could have done DLCs in TVHM and gone back to normal to clean up Terra at level 50 instead of resorting to power leveling. Now the whole “ALL ABOUT LUCK” thing Case by case RNG numbers and explanations. Micheal Mamaril has a 10% chance to spawn and 10 possible spawn locations, now this doesn’t mean he always spawns but rather rolls the 10% chance and then chooses a location to spawn. An average canvas of sanctuary when specifically searching for him takes about a minute and 30 seconds with no speed buffs. So if you learn his spawns (which it seems like based on how he’s moving when he finds him) it should take about 15 minutes to do with average luck and no movement boosts. Chubbies, skags specifically, are a little over a 0.5% chance to replace normal skags. Starting from the fast travel in nexus badlands you can run forward and check 10 or more skags in less than a minute. Assuming you check 10 per minute, which is conservative, you would get a chubby in 20 minutes with average luck. There are much faster ways to find them but with on surface knowledge I think this is a fair guess on the farming time. All of this is undercut a bit by the fact you happened across one naturally. Pictures of Moxxi in campaign of carnage drop most often from badass enemies. The easiest place to farm these, where you showed yourself farming them, is pyro Pete’s bar on the repeatable side mission. In testing it took me 15 rounds (90 badasses) to get my 10th picture, I’m assuming a 10% drop rate and I was just lucky as the wiki does not specify. Each round took me about 2 minutes to clear with no absurd speed Strats. So I’d say about 35 minutes for moxxi pictures. Though with the caveat that you are grinding tokens for a free torque legendary at the same time I like my monsters rare can definitely be a pain point if you either: skip picking it up until clearing much of the other content, or, don’t look for spots to actually farm the spawns and just wander aimlessly. Again the wiki doesn’t have exact chances for these spawns, but seeing as you were using adorton station I’m certain it didn’t take all that long. Slagged spores and pink boroks spawn within a 10 second walk of the entrance to adorton, tailless scalions are on the other side of the door, 2 leg drifters are easy to spot and pick off from the hunters grotto lodge and albino skags being the worst, thankfully spawn so often that I was getting multiple per run when I went through the quest. At absolute worst the most I could see this taking is an hour, and considering how common each spawn is it certainly keeps the progress going Rolling a 20 in AoDK is hardly an rng challenge let’s be honest with ourselves homie. You saw how many chests you get to spin after beating dragons right? This one is literally more likely to happen naturally than to miss You can always tell when the mysterious amulet quest is available when you load in by looking for the exclamation mark on the map. I don’t think you were trying to push the RNG narrative with that one per se but the verbiage made it worth acknowledging. Other people have talked about how to search for Jimmy so I won’t rehash that, probably the most valid whine you had in the whole video, but considering it’s one of the 114 challenges you had to do for 1 achievement I think it’s more than a reach to say that that achievement is RNG based, let alone the whole game. Donkey Mong has a few spawns, the easiest is the one your friend took you to, easy to get in 10 minutes or less. Weird that you’re surprised ngl And finally all rainbow gear, honestly this is the most painful one to yap about. You have a 10% drop at not-Saturn or a 20% drop at Cassius for your grenade mod and already had the relic from finishing the DLC. The shield is a guaranteed drop from haderax and the insane RNG you got for the rifle from haderax was a 1/3 chance. Also not really sure why you stopped farming haderax for your last weapon but anyways, good unnecessary 20% drop from the sand worm queen. Overall I’m sure I’m missing a few things you didn’t bring up, but it seems like less than 3 hours of your playthrough was governed by RNG based struggles. So even if this quest only accounted for half of your 100 hours of playtime, I think it’s extremely disingenuous to claim that 3/50 hours makes the experience all about luck. I still really enjoyed the video and had fun making this writeup on a road trip, just try to not smudge the facts to present a negative narrative in future though okay? Much love ❤️

I’ll be honest, Hammerlocks “rare” enemies mission really wasn’t that bad for me. The first catch a ride near the lodge often has a 2 legged drifter, I’d not there’s several more on the other side of the lodge Near the shack in front of the catch a ride on the cliff edge is a spore spawn, I realized that early on, and I managed to get all 4 slagged spores quickly without using a save-exit Albino skags can be farmed in their den where you do claptrap’s piss stained mission Pink boraks can be farmed in the backside of initial spawn, I’d recommend going into Scylla’s Grove for the spawn point and save/exit there, go outside back into Hunters Grotto, rinse repeat until done. I got it done pretty quick this way. I can’t remember what I did for the tailless ones, I think I got lucky with them honestly, the only spot I really know of off the top of my head is outside of the Voracidous area

The shoot the darkness DnD reference is based on DnD lore I would guess. A plane of reality in DnD is called the Abyss, which was made basically by taking a physical manifestation of evil into the plane of reality of which the gods reside. The abyss is the home of demons, which are basically borne from it & it’s an ever expanding plane of existence. To “shoot the darkness” if this is a DnD reference, would be to destroy the abyss, which would be a basically impossible task & be a cosmological victory for good & lawful evil, as demons constantly war with hell against the devils, as well as repeatedly try to invade the prime material (the regular plane of reality in which planets reside).

For what I recall Jimmy spawns anywhere loader midgets can spawn, so primarily the nature reserve because of the doctor's order side quest, that's how you grind Jimmy That's how you , that's how you kill Jimmy
