This is very cool, but my game says it can't detect any saves. If I launch bl2 I can play on my saves but the presequel can't detect them for some reason. That's bullshit.

I figured out how to stack the moonstone, I get 150 everytime I do the new game instead of 30! I joined my friends menu lobby from the 360 dashboard and it searched for my borderlands 1 and borderlands 2 save files again and adds 30 moonstone everytime!

Yes, changing your file to a read-only will always work on Borderlands games because there are no servers hosting the game. All the data is contained on your computer, its the reason why Multiplayer is player-to-player and requires a host.

Hey guys I need help. I tried doing this on my xbox 360, it kind of works like it shows that I get moonstones as a loyalty bonus but when I checked my inventory no moonstones were added but the Guns were still there. I also haven't patched my Pre-Sequel because I just recently got it.

francisco caraballo That's your problem then. Gotta have both games or a save from both games. But BL1 is cheap on PSN at the moment, get all the DLC and the game digitally for 7.50$.

Download a save file from the internet for BL1 and if you place it in the right place it will work. That's how I did it.

It will definitely be updated, all Gibbed does is edit your save files. Probably will be ported over within a few months, maybe after the first few patches at the latest.

First of all, make a new character and see if you're receiving the member loyalty rewards in the first place. If you aren't then you need to have data from BL1 and BL2 on your PS3.

I recommend playing 1 ,then the pre-sequel, then play the second game. It makes for a nice flow of the story, rather than the clusterfuck that pre-sequels always create.

While it might get patched, it isn't that gamebreaking. Once you've hit level 27 you can farm the Kragon boss and get an equal number of moonstones and better gear. It is nice if you enjoy playing with the masher because I think it is the only one of its kind, so Gearbox may leave it in just because of that. The 30 moonstones are an absolutely tiny amount though. I farmed over 240 moonstones today, just from finishing the campaign and farming the boss a few times, and I have been playing for no more than a few hours, like 3 at most...

That depends. If you get the console version, you can just disconnect from your internet before inserting the disc and it won't search/download a patch. Do all the exploiting you want in single player and when you're finished you can patch up the game and join multiplayer. If you bought a physical copy for the PC you can probably do a similar trick. Install the game, let it connect to steam to activate the game, then cancel the game patch and go offline mode. Should probably work. If you purchase digital version on steam it probably automatically downloads the most recent version of the game when you click download.

To be honest moonstone isn't really that rare and I like it, its rare enough that you can find for it but I get at least 3-4 moonstone every fight. This method really isn't necessary, just play the game guys.
