It seems CL4P-TP's hatred of himself shows deeply in the subconcious. We all have cringey memories, but having some deeply disturbing memories arise and unsuppressed awoken Claptrap's deepest regrets and anxiety. The whole Claptastic DLC is how Claptrap spirals into the junkheap that is BL2 Claptrap... Even literally corroding his dignity away. Hope and Self-Esteem dying during the battle with ShadowTp being what makes him the depressive, cowardly robot he is today.

There's another mario secret in that very same room. After killing all the enemies jump across to the high ledge and over it. There you'll find a small tunnel that takes you to the room where the pipe down is. On the back wall there's another tunnel to a secret room with three more pipes (like in the Super Mario Bros level 1-2) and three weapon crates ;)

Missed a 2 at least. there is a second Gwen's head where you meet Takoa Glastone for the first time. the re is also a neat reference and nod for all the hard work the Functionality Quality Assurance (the guys in charge of finding the bugs, exploits and otherwise known ways to break the game) had put in this project, and nifty little look how the development went. in the mario room there is a hidden room behind the exit that is the three pipe warp room. you have to jump on top of all blocks in the room with the enemies go to back right corner and you can cross the exit room on top of the boarder. and the hidden room is right there with three chests in that room.
