The funny thing about most godly craft can all be beaten by slapping a doom cram into a plane and making it go hella fast. Maybe like 50-70k mats depending on how you make it and if its just the cram cannon or not, but I've found that its incredibly effective to have them do a bombing run and then shoot a cram shot when theyre like 200 meters away so there is nearly 0 chance of missing. small correction, the kobald no longer has lams. In return though, its straifing speed is insane. It also has projectile avoidance while doing so.

One thing I’ve found funny is when huge missiles get used en-mass. Expensive as all get out, but I’ve got a submarine with 8 huge torpedoes with HE warheads that are really funny to use on ships and other subs!

Borderwise, thanks for making this and also I think that the rules for the Glaclave dominion are little too restrictive; Making a decent craft that uses every weapon type without having some weapons be almost useless is extremely hard, especially if it is small craft, because it will require a huge amount of power for having both a PAC and a laser and all of the weapons will compete for space and power, reducing their effectiveness against larger craft that the Sewowal republic will have. Edit: Perhaps you can change the rules so that each ceaft pf the Glaclave dominion should have at least 3 differ weapon types and be able to take on most types of craft on their own to keep the idea of versatility, but be a bit more practical.

one of the biggest advantages of an airship is it has twice as much geometry on it to build guns, whereas a surface battleship typically only has guns on the top, airships can have twice as many if you cover the bottom side with them too.

Regarding the two different behaviors, there's a breadboard which makes it switch sides and fight from further away when it gets below 90% health. This is also one of the reasons it likes to point it's ass at the target. The Empyrean is one of the scariest craft Neter has to offer. It's absolutely stronger than Meg from accounting for about the same cost; Meg is stronger defensively due to LAMS and sheer bulk, but is honestly somewhat lacking in the offense department when fighting things of similar size. The Empyrean doesn't have this weakness; the railguns are individually weaker but it has more of them and the shells are much better designed, and those large/huge RG thumper missiles are both quite hard to kill and very damaging as a salvo will just drill into whatever it targets, and if you don't have defenses tuned to kill the ICBMs it spawns they will take huge bites out of you.

One good way to fight against huge missiles is to out range them. Most of them have around 2.5 km, meaning that sniping from 3km away or so can be a good idea. For example the OW Javelin really struggles at those long ranges.

Weird. I made a bunch of huge missiles with ballistic arc's and they don't function below 2.5km😅 I guess people use missiles with too little fuel or are too big.

@@Will-rv3tf Would be neat to see a craft with those missiles and you are right it's not hard to make missiles with good range. I do remember looking for the javelins weaknesses and it has short ranges. I could be wrong but I also think there's a SS craft with the same weakness.

@@Will-rv3tf I think it's the basking shark. Has 6 huge remote guided missiles and a few ciws on the back. I remember seeing one in my campaign so i started looking for it's weakness. Tho things may have changed since it was a while ago so idk. Edit: I mostly play on and off every now and then since i struggle to build hulls i'm happy with

@@Will-rv3tfI run a lot of long range missiles, I've found you can get a really nice mix of long Vs short range effectiveness without going to crazy on fuel and fins with a "passive" launch. So, as many boosters as you can fit on the launcher, put a one turn on your missile and delay the booster ignition until the missile has nearly finished turning. That was they turn and point at nearby targets, give the thruster a couple of seconds of ramp time, missiles turn better at lower thrust, plus's you can eek out a little more boost time out of less fuel. Lastly put fins on both ends the further out your fins the more effective, 1 fin on either end is more effective than 3 at the back

A bit late to see this, but have you thought about doing a most wanted on the Gravitas? I think you've covered most of the supergodlies at this point, but I know the gravitas has some different weaknesses then a lot of the other supergodlies due to repair

Yo Borderwise quick question I wanted to make a proper nuclear bomb that will use the shell ejector to eject millions of shells up high down and over altitude the shells will spread out and increases the explosive range of the nuke.. but I don't know how to pack a good amount of shells to eject for it to still hold some serious damage as to compensate the spreading of shells as they fall . Do you possibly know a way to pack that many shells to eject without making the nuke so big it would take up a grid square?

@@maxharrysson6305 A bit late but : If you build on different subobjects (ie spin blocks) next to each other you can build things on top of each other. It's really cheezy and forbidden in most tournaments but you can get a lot of stuff in little space with this technique.
