This is really excellent. One tiny detail that would help ME more. The close-ups on Mr. Oft's face I lose the slide positions (other than 1 & 2). Don't snicker. I've known what notes are in what positions since 1965. I like to watch how the really great players use their slides. Yes, it can differ player to player. Plus a close up of his profile, while striking, doesn't do as much for me. If that's too picayune, I apologize.

You folks, and all the brass, are in my mind the 21st Century's answer to the CSO (although I still wouldn't throw them out of a concert hall). Great vids. This is a small thing, but since playing along can be very helpful (and you actually encourage people to do so), adding a short count in or even a more audible breath would make it a bit easier to start with you.

Thanks so much for your comment. You bring up a matter that I debated a lot when making this video. I thought about giving a count off, but then realized that the professional world is largely devoid of count offs. Especially where you can see me breath in the video, I felt that the "Breath & Play with Me" method is much more representative of real world performance practice.
