Great video - I’ve recently started a meditation practice over the past few months alongside my own therapy, which has helped in a way which is hard to articulate - this also *speaks* to the value of silence. Nice one Nick

Words only go so far to describe experiences... Great to hear that it's been a fruitful endeavor for you brother.

You have a nice calm voice and it’s comforting. Can you post some guided meditation videos?

I see you're protecting yourself from Nature Deficiency Syndrome...well done. You "get" this on a very deep level. I love the connection with using boredom, often thought of as a negative.

There's not a single day my internal voice isn't telling me to break my phone, and now we have the new year fake hope that something gonna be different in a month, feeling like tied hands while i know my phone is stealing my vital energy, they are using us like battery cells

We all have distractions that pull us in and "drain" our energy. Maybe the question isn't, "Should I throw my phone away?" Perhaps it's: "What part of me tells me I need this so much and why? How can I better understand that part of me?"

The incessant pursuit of excitement, new things, social status, etc. isn't a sign of a healthy philosophy. The vast majority of people have a hard time being still and being content. I retired at age 53 to a very rural area. I rarely leave my property. People, in those rare cases I interact with them, are always asking "arent you bored"? They can't even compute that I don't need the constant stimulation of modern society.

Sounds like you're living a fulfilling philosophy for yourself, regardless of the noise of others.

I think you might need a CMHC for yourself as well, video is quite depressing.
