Imagine what the conversation of the producers of this game sounded like when they were thinking about the weapons. "A gun that fires self-guiding flying drills that prioritize enemy skulls and explode when fully drilling into their brains." "Brian that's an excellent idea, but what the f*ck"

What makes Turok 2 so much better than all the others imo is the sound design. All weapons in the game just feel so satisfying to use due to how they sound. Once you hear the cerebral bore once? It sticks in your head.

.......its a rocket the heat seeks its way tword the victims brain as they run away in a panic until it starts drilling its way into their skull, gushing out a obscene amount of blood in the process, and finally exploding, how are you able to somehow think that is overhyped??? can you name another FPS weapon that does something so needlessly gruesome to the point of being funny? the shark gun is the only thing that comes to my mind and thats just because if defy's logical physics.

@@Gojiro7 Not just an obscene amount of blood, but an obscene amount of mooshed up flesh, skull fragments, and brains too. The Cerebral Bore is honestly the most brutal weapon I've ever used in any game, aside from maybe the scotsman's skullcutter from Team Fortress 2, and that's only because that thing is large battle axe that decapitates any enemy you kill with it.
@LabTech415 жыл бұрын
@@Gojiro7 It's not heat-seeking: it operates by locking on to the brainwave patterns of it's enemies; that's why you can't use it effectively against enemies that aren't intelligent, their brains are too simple to get a signal off of.
