Bori umoh, or garden huts, are traditional structures used by the Bidayuh community as temporary shelters in shifting cultivation fields. They are built using natural materials such as wooden poles for the framework, bamboo for the walls and floors, and sago leaves for the roof. This construction reflects the Bidayuh people’s adaptation to their environment and their sustainable management of natural resources.
