@@BorisAudioWorks First of all, I'm amazed at how you were able to so accurately compile all of these sounds the way you have. Everything works together perfectly and each sound you demonstrated was exactly the way I expected it to be. The detail is amazing...I'm pretty sure I could hear the relays behind the seats when you turned on the fuel pumps. The avionics fan switching to FLT when you went WOW was a perfect touch and I really like (though I've never even thought about it) how you can hear 3B activate during flap extension. If I have any critique at all it would be just a few little things that may even be a little bit subjective: 1.) The main gear extension sounds are perfect, but I feel like the initial "thud" of the gear releasing out of the bays are a little louder (...not quite as much in the 7 and 9 as in the 200) but it's almost a little startling. 2.) While the 3B ACMP is definitely audible during flap extension as you've depicted, I think the flap motors are also quite audible from somewhere around just forward of the wing aft. They are much louder aft of the wing, if memory serves. 3.) Lastly, and this may not even be a thing...I can't recall if I'm just thinking of when the nose wheel bearing start to wear out but I feel like I was expecting to hear the nose wheels winding down a little more after the nose lifted. That really could just be a less than nominal occurrence though. Beyond that, I've got nothing. The whole thing really could pass for perfect just the way you've already got it. Well done! You even have the first stage fan blades slapping around in the buckets. That totally kicks ass dude!

I deal with CL60s and Crj 200s/CL850s all the time. It is so nice to finally hear such amazing sounds out of its sim counterpart. (Well almost the same. CL60s are just stubby CRJs) Exterior audio is one of the gripes I have about GA jets in MSFS. They all sound so generic and bland compared to their IRL counterparts. Again so Nice to see such good effort into sound design. I love the buzz of those CF34s

Question for you! If I were to buy the CRJ from steam cuz it’s rn on discount sale, and buy the sounds from the website, would that still work, meaning I’d have to probably get rid of the old sounds or rename the sounds file to like sounds.old and then reinsert the new sound pack, would that work? I’m thinking of buying it and what’s the price for this because the site says $15 AUD, not sure exactly what that means but I’m just trying to figure out the total estimate for both of these since the CRJ 550/700 are sitting at $41 rn and if that’s $15, ill most likely be spending about $60 in total for those two items.

The sound pack needs no crazy tweaking or anything. You buy from orbx and click install and that's all! It doesn't matter where you get your aerosoft crj from, my sounds will overwrite the default. It's 10 USD or 15 AUD

If you bought this from the marketplace there's an issue that every now and then pops up and I'm not sure why. But this is how you fix it Go to your msfs OFFICIAL packages folder and find something like orbx-sound-crj and drag that folder to your msfs community folder. This will fix the issue!

Have hundreds and hundreds of hours in that plane and without FSRealistic I think it is extremely quiet, and little to no engine sounds within the cockpit. Maybe I need to look at all my settings for Fenix, but to me that is the worst part of the addon

I turned them down because of other aircraft that do not have good sound packs and things are really out of balance. You were correct though. I even turn FSRealistic off now when flying the Fenix.

i’m going to add fuel to the fire and suggest a PMDG sound pack as well. the 737 and especially the 777 sound too similar to their P3D counterparts, and with more and more addons focusing on sound immersion PMDG is lagging behind.

You do realize that PMDG actually got offical recordings when they did the 737, one of the microphones they had was placed either further back or something but they got enough sounds from the real aircraft not to even mention they have 737 pilots working on it with them, and they have 777 pilots with them currently working on it, there sounds are gonna be spot on either way. I wouldn’t complain about PMDG being shitty in the audio department, sure it’s got a little tweaks here and there but it’s all from the real plane itself. I would personally just wait until it comes out and you’ve flown it at least a couple times, cuz PMDG knows exactly what they’re doing to create their aircraft. Give it time and you might like the sounds with what they’ve done and if not then Boris Audio Works can immediately come into play and help bring the 777 to life.

You can look up a tutorial to get custom wing views - essentially it's editing a camera cfg file of the default cockpit view to then get it outside the cockpit, move to the cabin and save the views, and then remove the cfg edit so the default is back in the cockpit. Alternatively you can go to showcase Cam -> fixed views -> scroll through them, there should be 2 cabin views in the aerosoft crj
