I just started as an airline refueler at KCMH, and I usually do all American Eagle. I can't get over how detailed and accurate that CRJ-900 model is, it looks exactly like the real thing! And I couldn't help notice the tail #: N550NN. I've had the pleasure of fueling that particular aircraft multiple times! Awesome video, keep up the great work!

I've flown that tail in real life. CRJ900 is a great bird. Your landing was spot on, our training was to pull thrust to idle at 30ft. If you pull power to idle at the threshold you'll knock your fillings out on landing. Also, the flight number would be JIA5264. The company that is now PSA used to be jetstream international, hence the JIA in the flight number.

I absolutely love this thing! I've flown so many hours on it already. It's a nice change from the more automated planes, this plane is a lot more hands on. Also, I believe the right click then left click you do to hit the mach swap is an intentional feature of the sim, for whatever reason.

That 900 looks great! Actually did almost this exact flight a month or so back in a Beechjet from CLT-ATL, had to taxi all the way from the East side to 36C though in CLT

Used to work at CLT and have worked many planes at the gate you started at. It’s crazy how real it looks. The terminal and surrounding area. Brings back a lot of memories working CRJ’s.

Flying the CRJ-700 (American Eagle) we got I got my best landings by crossing the threshold at Vref+5 slowing to Vref by touchdown. When the computer called “10” we reduced the power to idle and held a constant pitch attitude.

Nice flight! Man, i miss MSFS - i pretty much gave up on it til i can get fibre internet. The last big sim update required me to download 80GB and this was before the new edition with the F-18 and the reno air races expansion too. I can run it fine on my system, but my internet just cant keep up with it. Sames goes for streaming in the 3D photogrammetry too.

Jeff, red fuel levers are for shutdown. Throttles just click forward for startup. Don’t need that extra step.

On the CRJ200 you can almost cut the power at 100ft and still be fine, but the dang 700/900 is so bad on sinking so you have to leave ~~60% N1 until around 20/30ft. Def cant bring it idle at threshold though...tried it in the full motion sim during training and blew the gear legs through the fuselage lol. Nice job.
