of all the classics Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto #1 is one of my favorites .. Boris plays this with heart and perfecto timing.. a powerful piece .. reaches deep into your emotions Bravo BB

Stunning performance. Boris is a super-super-virtuoso and what I love about his playing is there are no airs and graces but he will always find an interesting way to play some sections in a way that I've never heard before (run of the mill performances of this concerto are commonplace). His dynamic range is collosal ffff to pppp. Orchestra were terrific too. I'm also reminded (having battled through this concerto myself) just how extraordinary the piano writing is.

Je ne suis pas objectif, parce que je suis un 'fan' de Boris... Je l'ai écouté (et vu) plusieurs fois en concert, entre autres à Toulouse (Halle aux Grains pour la première du concerto pour piano de Karol Beffa, festival Piano aux Jacobins) Je trouve que c'est un géant du piano : il est capable de caresser son instrument tout autant que de le secouer comme peu sont capables de le faire. Grande sensibilité en même temps que vigueur hors normes, servies par une technique sans limites...Tout un programme !

Согласен. Очень хороший пианист. Жаль, что он публично заявил по телевизору, что вся ложь Путина - правда. Жаль, что артисты не решаются говорить правду, а так инструментализированы СМИ. А по тому, как он это сказал по телевизору, можно подумать, что он сам верит в это безумие. Он должен давать концерты и жертвовать деньги, чтобы на них можно было отстроить Украину. Русские убили столько мирных жителей без всякой причины. Как может страна заниматься такой ерундой? Это непостижимо.

Очень люблю этот концерт ещё с детства, слышала его в разных исполнениях, начиная с Клиберна. Но это исполнение - лучшее, что я слышала. Единое целое -пианист, дирижёр, оркестр!! Чайковский у вас живой, не лакированный,мятущийся! Низкий поклон!

I think the sound engineer gave this job to his new apprentice. The recording of Berezovsky is ok but it does not do the orchestra justice. Anyway, I much enjoyed this performance. Thank you.
