Такое исполнение заставляет вспомнить, что эта музыка написана не только гениальным композитором, но и гениальным пианистом, не имевшим себе равных . И исполнитель здесь наравне с автором... Such a performance makes you recall that this music was written not only by a brilliant composer, but also by a brilliant pianist who had no equal. And the performer is here along with the author ...

Heard this concerto live a few times. Never ever the masterpiece which Boris Berezovsky has devoted to us here. A masterpiece. Spasiba Balshoi Baris.

Beautiful tempi in the final coda and unity with the orchestra which is not always the case.

One of the best performance of this ossia cadenza in the 1st movement. He plays it so effortlessly. It's a shame this great pianist doesn't seem to practice enough these days.

What do you mean he doesnt practice enough these days? Is he not giving concerts anymore? I just discovered Berezovsky and im loving him

@@jhyounyo I did watch the concerto you mention above and he does a more than decent job sightreading Chopin (you should try it some time). My guess is that he filled in on short notice for someone previously scheduled who cancelled. A gracious thing to do, even more so because the Chopin e concerto obviously isn't part of his repertoire, meaning one of the approx 12 concertos a pianist in his league knows by heart.

RAGE AS RENOWNED RUSSIAN PIANIST CALLS FOR KYIV TO BE SHUT DOWN March 14, 2022 Among other appalling statements, he urges the military to cut off electricity from Kyiv. A military officer on the programme says, ‘that would create a humanitarian catastrophe’. Berezovsky does not seem bothered.
