His left hand is great. His sensibility is very original. You can enjoy Beethoven´s music as it is. With no fireworks that mess with the beauty of pure music.

You can find it on the 'Live' tab, along with the placeholder for part 3 which will be streamed live in December.

Professional Pianists don't need to memorize the pieces anymore?

I think it's just the pianist's choice. Mr. Giltburg certainly knows these sonatas deeply, and chose to use the score in front of him as a guide, a support. With new technologies, IPads, bluetooth page turners, I think this will become more and more common. I see that harpsichordists and organists are more receptive about playing with the support of the sheet music, but this is still a taboo for many pianists, when it shouldn't be: whether the music is, with sheet music or from memory, it doesn't matter!

I think it has been customary to play sonatas with the score

@@abcanal2 Richter used the scores in his later years, with an assistant sitting next to turn the pages. Moree like a talisman, as he said.

Not a nice sound, hard and sharp. It's a shame, it's an interesting interpretation regardless.

Señor, siempre será van Beethoven a través de alguien, no el puro genio que se brinda a la inmortalidad en la humanidad viva que lo disfruta y lo seguirá disfrutando por los siglos de los siglos. ¿Do you understand?
