I cried solidly from 10pm to 3am on election night. All these people obsessed with the ideology of Brexit whilst we have children literally starving due to austerity policies. Unbelievable

Watching from the inside, we can only judge the new government on what they do next. The fan is running and there's a lot of shit to throw.

Hi Angry, The beautiful irony of the Religious Freedom bill is that the loony christian element that wanted this bill will now have to put up with the equivalent Muslim, Jewish or other christian sects who can now say the same things about them and discriminate against them with impunity.

What was being said about Corbyn was not that much of a problem, the bigger problem was that much of the Labour heartland, the so-called 'red wall', is made up of strongly Leave voting seats, and Labour Leavers have accused him for a while of plotting to cancel Brexit, there were several traditional Labour seats in the north where Labour lost to the Brexit Party. Sure, his diehard fans will insist it was the nonsense accusations alone, because they don't want to admit that many in their own camp simply are not in favour of socialism, and undecided voters were often put off by his outlandish promises that he wouldn't be able to keep in a million years. But first and foremost, they called it an 'election', but it clearly was a second Brexit referendum, that was the one driving issue this time. But yeah, for some time, years in fact, it had become increasingly clear that without a leadership change, they'll be doing really badly, and his fans hadn't a lot to hold against it, besides dumb shit like "his name is being chanted", because that obviously proves an awful lot, as we all know. To quote someone's take on the previous election, you just know that Labour will lose if the only sources claiming otherwise are the likes of The Canary. EDIT: My personal highlight was when Jo Swinson (Lib Dem), who advertised herself as 'the next PM', lost her seat to the SNP, that must hurt a lot more than not becoming PM, hahaha!

Mislabeling ideas, or twisting an existing one, is the most insidious political move. Everybody pushing "religious liberty" so they can discriminate against people based upon their religion is like sexual predators pushing "sexual liberty" to make it so all forms of sexual assault and molestation are perfectly legal.
